When the (five aggregates) are exhausted, the body and life force held by consciousness will also be abandoned. This life force will completely end from now on, and will not mature later. That consciousness, together with all feelings, will naturally cease here, and because the previous cause has ceased, it will not connect elsewhere, thus ceasing completely. This is the realm of nirvana without the residue of aggregates, a place of permanent peace. Therefore, practicing brahmacharya in the presence of the Bhagavan is an act of approaching nirvana, ultimately leading to nirvana. Therefore, this is entering the middle boundary from the previous boundary, entering the later boundary from the middle boundary, entering the middle boundary and becoming completely pure, a detailed explanation of the establishment of dependent origination in three ways. Abiding painfully in nine ways, whatever new karma an unwise person does in this life in order to generate the tree of rebirth in the future is like that young tree of suffering. If that unwise person thinks that, from the perspective of the present, the defiled dharmas are abundant, from the perspective of the past, they possess views, and from the perspective of the future, they will generate attachment, then abiding in this way, due to being accustomed to the previous existence that has not been abandoned, it will grow again. Thus, that unwise person desires the accomplishment and happiness of the young tree of rebirth, and is also moistened by the attachment of craving, so like before, he takes the fruits in order, and also completely accomplishes them in the future. The noble hearer who possesses hearing, even if he has already created defiled karma for the young tree of rebirth and the suffering of rebirth, sees the formations of the place of affliction as phenomena of arising and ceasing, thus abandoning them, being free from desire, and also seeing the realm of cessation as peaceful, so because there is no attachment of craving, that karma will decrease and not increase. Therefore, the wise person desires the accomplishment and happiness of the young tree.

It is not hoping (for samsara), but abandoning the taking of rebirth, etc., due to existence and the causes of existence, so that that very tree of rebirth utterly and completely disappears. If one eliminates it in such a way, how could one expect growth in the future? Furthermore, here, some individuals manifest accomplishment with their bodies. They have done and accumulated karma that will be experienced in other instances in the past. That is connected to this life, and the karma that will be experienced in other instances is combined with that body. This is called the great tree of rebirth. If one remains attached to the mind with respect to the dharmas that are in accordance with afflictions, as before, then the karma that will be experienced in other instances in the past is like roots digging downwards, nourishing that tree. One should know that the afflictions of desire of the three times of this life are like the branches of the roots, nourishing the essence of that tree. The karma and afflictions arising from that cause, and the consciousness that possesses all seeds and is in accordance with them, will firmly abide in name and form at the time of connection in the future. Thus, the tree of suffering will remain for a long time, and one should know that that person also desires its accomplishment and happiness. One should know that this white aspect is also like before. Here, the Bodhisattva abandons the previous worldly path and all worldly teachers, and enters into the essence of enlightenment. Because he wishes to benefit others, he manifests compassion towards sentient beings and thus begins to analyze the truth. At that time, he wishes to analyze the truth of suffering, and he analyzes aging and death, which belong to the truth of suffering, by examining dependent arising, which is not in accordance with the norm. He analyzes aging and death in accordance with reality in three ways: with subtle causes, with gross causes, and without error. Among these, the cause of manifest accomplishment is also birth, and manifest accomplishment is also birth. One should know that the former is the subtle part and the latter is the gross part. Among these, aging and death also arise from the most subtle former, and aging and death also arise due to the cause of the most gross latter.
