What are the eleven? The characteristic of conventional truth, the characteristic of ultimate truth, the characteristic of the objects of all the dharmas that are in accordance with the aspects of enlightenment, the characteristic of aspects, the characteristic of intrinsic nature, the characteristic of its result, the characteristic of experiencing it and declaring it in various ways, the characteristic of the dharmas that obstruct it, the characteristic of the dharmas that are in accordance with it, the characteristic of its faults, and the characteristic of its benefits. Mañjuśrī, the characteristic of conventional truth has three aspects: showing the person, showing the intrinsic nature of what is completely imputed, and showing the actions, movements, and functions of all the dharmas, and one should observe them in this way. The characteristic of ultimate truth should be observed as showing the seven suchnesses. The characteristic of the object should be observed as showing all knowable things. The characteristic of aspects should be observed as showing the eight kinds of imputation. What are the eight kinds of imputation? They are truth, abiding, faults, qualities, reason, entering, logic, and summarizing and expanding. Of these, truth is suchness. Abiding is the establishment of a person, or the establishment of the intrinsic nature of what is completely imputed, or the establishment of a single head and various distinctions, or questions and answers, or the establishment of establishment, or the establishment of secrecy and the showing of distinctions. Faults are all the various faults of the afflicted dharmas that I have shown. Qualities are all the various benefits of the purified dharmas that I have shown. Reason should be understood as sixfold: the reason for the meaning of just that, the reason for attainment, the reason for explanation, the reason for abandoning the two extremes, the reason for being inconceivable, and the reason for intention. Entering is the three times, the three characteristics of conditioned phenomena, and the four conditions. Logic should be understood as fourfold: relative logic, functional logic, logic that establishes through valid cognition, and the logic of the nature of phenomena. Of these, relative logic is the arising of conditioned things and

After that, what are the causes and conditions for establishing terms? That is the reasoning of relativity. What are the causes and conditions for the acquisition, accomplishment, or arising of phenomena, which are transformed by action? That is the reasoning of action. What are the causes and conditions for the collection of the meanings of individual knowledge, explanations, and statements, and for the thorough understanding of them? That is the reasoning of establishing through validity. In short, there are two types: completely pure and completely impure. Among them, the characteristics of complete purity are five. The characteristics of complete impurity are seven. Among them, what are the five characteristics of complete purity? They are the characteristic of direct perception, the characteristic of abiding in that direct perception, the characteristic of closely applying the example of one's own actions, the characteristic of being universally known, and the characteristic of demonstrating the definitive meaning of extremely pure scripture. That is, all conditioned phenomena are impermanent, all conditioned phenomena are suffering, all phenomena are selfless, directly perceived in the world, and whatever is in accordance with this, that is the characteristic of direct perception. All conditioned phenomena are momentary, there is a future world, good and bad karma are not wasted, the gross impermanence abiding in this is directly perceived, and sentient beings abide in various karmas, directly perceived, and sentient beings experience happiness and suffering, abiding in good and bad karma, directly perceived, and what has not become directly perceived should be inferred, and whatever is in accordance with this, that is the characteristic of abiding in that direct perception. For internal and external conditioned phenomena, the signs of death and rebirth known to all the world are closely applied, and the signs of suffering such as birth are closely applied, and the signs of lack of autonomy are closely applied, and for the establishment and refutation of external objects, the signs of prosperity and decline known to all the world are closely applied, and whatever is in accordance with this.
