Furthermore, distinctions are made between what has been attained and what has not been attained. The basis of all dharmas is distinguished from the clinging to nominal and ultimate dharmas. The first two are distinguished from the clinging to the holy dharma of nominal higher morality. The last two are distinguished from the clinging to the holy dharma of ultimate higher mind and higher wisdom. Śamatha and vipaśyanā are distinguished by the meaning of not moving from the object and fully contemplating it. There are eight liberations by the power of liberation from the two bonds of signs and unfavorable rebirths. What is the nature of the eight liberations for these five things? What are the objects? What are the masters? Answer: They are the nature of worldly and transcendental true knowledge. The first and second are the signs of the color of form and the suchness as the object. The third is the sign of the benefit of form itself and the sign of its suchness as the object. The fourth is the object of one's own sign and the sign of their suchness as the object. The last is without object. All are masters for manifesting the miraculous qualities of the noble ones. They are also yogis obscured by the obscurations of the sense faculties on the signs of form and the signs of formlessness, striving to dispel those obscurations. Of the eight spheres of overcoming, the first four are like this: for example, they are similar to the first two liberations. The last four are like this: for example, they are similar to the third liberation. Because form is difficult to overcome, if that form is overcome, the power to overcome formlessness can also be obtained. Regarding what is said, "Knowing after overcoming, seeing after overcoming," the noble ones know after overcoming and see after overcoming by attending to the sign of form and suchness. But ordinary people are not like that. How do ordinary people overcome? Answer: With three perceptions, that is, with the beauty and ugliness of form, mutually dependent.

and the perception of one relying on another, and the perception of one being related to another because of one relying on another, and the perception of the same taste of beauty for beautiful and ugly forms because of one being related to another. Thus, the final subjugation of each individual is also common to the noble ones. The ten exhaustive spheres of birth should be viewed through the power of the subjugating spheres of birth. The distinction there is this: focusing on the characteristics of the elements, and those that focus on the characteristics of suchness, and focusing on the characteristics of the sphere of infinite space and consciousness, and those that focus on the characteristics of suchness. Otherwise, one who dwells without pervasiveness will not become pervasive, because the one who focuses contemplates the characteristics of suchness, so it should be said that pervasiveness is superior to exhaustion. These two, distinguished by subjugation and exhaustion, enable the complete purification of liberation and the manifestation of the miraculous qualities of the noble ones. Chapter Thirty-Four. Summary: Collection and essence, object and aggregates, existence, the world itself, complete seeking, true meaning and order. How many reasons are included in the truth? Answer: By the four truths of distinction. Name is by one, namely the truth of suffering. Discrimination is by three, except for the truth of cessation. Suchness is by the four truths of non-distinction. Correct knowledge is included in the truth of the path, which is focused on the truths of non-distinction and distinction. Is whatever is a cause also a name, and is whatever is a name also a cause? Answer: For the time being, whatever is a name is a cause. There are causes that are not names, namely the other four causes besides the name cause. The remainder should also be understood accordingly. Is everything that is a cause also a cause of causes? Is everything that is a cause of causes also a cause? Answer: For the time being, whatever is a cause of causes is a cause. It is a cause, but a cause
