The realm is the same. The mind consciousness of discrimination also arises only once. If two groups of consciousness, or three or four at once, or all five arise at once, there, with the five groups of consciousness having the same object, the mind consciousness of discrimination also arises only once. Wide Intelligence, for example, when a great river flows, if the cause for one wave to arise is near, then only one wave arises. If two waves, or if many waves arise and the cause is near, then two or many waves arise, and the river does not cease its flow, nor does it become exhausted. Also, in a perfectly pure mirror circle, if the cause for one image to arise is near, then only one image arises. If two images, or if many images arise and the cause is near, then two or many images arise, and the mirror circle does not completely become the object of the images, nor does it appear to be completely joined. Wide Intelligence, likewise, like a river and like a mirror, relying on and abiding in that taking consciousness, if the cause for one eye consciousness to arise once is near, then only one eye consciousness arises once. If the cause for all five groups of consciousness to arise once is near, then all five groups of consciousness arise once. Wide Intelligence, thus, a Bodhisattva relies on understanding the principles of Dharma, and abiding in understanding the principles of Dharma, although skilled in the secrets of mind, intellect, and consciousness, the Tathagata calls a Bodhisattva skilled in the secrets of mind, intellect, and consciousness, but does not call him all of everything by that alone. Wide Intelligence, why does a Bodhisattva not see the individual taking within? The taking consciousness also does not

Furthermore, that which is truly as it is, the ālaya is not seen, the consciousness of the ālaya is not seen, the accumulation is not seen, the mind is not seen, the eye is not seen, the form is not seen, the consciousness of the eye is not seen, the ear is not seen, the sound is not seen, the consciousness of the ear is not seen, the nose is not seen, the smell is not seen, the consciousness of the nose is not seen, the tongue is not seen, the taste is not seen, the consciousness of the tongue is not seen, the body is not seen, the touch is not seen, the consciousness of the body is not seen, and because of vast wisdom, the Bodhisattva's own individual mind within is not seen, the dharmas are not seen, the consciousness of the mind is not seen, and that which is truly as it is, that is called a Bodhisattva skilled in the ultimate truth, and the Tathāgata also calls the Bodhisattva skilled in the ultimate truth skilled in the secrets of mind, intellect, and consciousness. O Extensive Intellect, to that extent, the Bodhisattva is skilled in the secrets of mind, intellect, and consciousness, and the Tathāgata calls the Bodhisattva skilled in the secrets of mind, intellect, and consciousness, and he calls him to that extent. Then the Blessed One at that time spoke this verse: The consciousness of grasping is deep and subtle, all seeds flow like a river, it is not right to conceive of it as self, therefore I have not shown it to children. Thus he spoke. As for the characteristics of the dharmas, one should look at them as they appear in the Sutra Unraveling the Intention; the Bodhisattva Guṇākara asked the Blessed One: Blessed One, the Bodhisattva is skilled in the characteristics of the dharmas. Blessed One, how much is it that a Bodhisattva is skilled in the characteristics of the dharmas? How much does the Tathāgata call a Bodhisattva skilled in the characteristics of the dharmas? After he asked this, the Blessed One said to the Bodhisattva Guṇākara:
