Because possessing the lineage of the Buddha is the place of entry for the path that transcends the world. If it were not so, without relying on that transformation, the path would not arise and would not be entered. If even without transformation, one could enter, then one would enter from the very beginning. The place of non-entry is the afflictions together with their imprints, because they are the place of non-entry. If it were not so, without relying on that transformation, even if the conditions were gathered, it would not be possible to ascertain that the afflictions together with their imprints do not enter. Therefore, the result of thoroughly examining the knowable is the truth of the knowable. The result of thoroughly realizing the suchness of the knowable is that transformation. If it were not so, then the very nature of the Dharma of the Buddhas would also need to be fully understood, abandoned, and negated. Therefore, the characteristic of the completely pure realm of Dharma is that, because all signs are overcome, that transformation is the thorough distinction of the realm of Dharma as extremely pure. If it were not so, if it were impermanent and conceivable, then it would be shown to be non-dual by the characteristic of permanence and the characteristic of inconceivability. That inconceivability should also be understood in five ways: by nature, object, existence, oneness, otherness, and the accomplishment of activity. So, how is it inconceivable in terms of nature? Form, or different from form, is thus inconceivable. Feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness, or different from consciousness, are thus inconceivable. The earth element, or different from the earth element, is thus inconceivable. The water element, the fire element, the wind element, or different from the wind element, are thus inconceivable. The eye sense base, or different from the eye sense base, is thus inconceivable. The ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind sense bases, or different from the mind sense base, are thus

Moreover, it is inconceivable, and what is called existence or non-existence is inconceivable. So, how is it inconceivable in terms of place? What is called the desire realm or other than the desire realm is inconceivable; the form realm or other than the form realm is inconceivable; the formless realm or other than the formless realm is inconceivable; humans or other than humans, gods or other than gods are inconceivable; the east or other than the east, the south, the west, the below, the above, the intermediate directions or other than the intermediate directions are inconceivable. So, how is it inconceivable in terms of dwelling? What is called a blissful dwelling dwelling in such and such a way is inconceivable; a peaceful dwelling dwelling in such and such a way is inconceivable; a dwelling with mind dwelling in such and such a way is inconceivable; a dwelling without mind dwelling in such and such a way is inconceivable; the dwelling of gods and Brahma dwelling in such and such a way is inconceivable; the dwelling of noble ones dwelling in such and such a way is inconceivable. So, how is it inconceivable in terms of oneness or otherness? For example, are the Buddhas abiding in the single essence of the uncontaminated realm one or different? This is inconceivable. So, how is it inconceivable in terms of accomplishing activities? The Tathāgatas, being equal in realm, wisdom, swiftness, power, and subduing others, abiding in the uncontaminated realm, relying on that transformed abode, accomplish the benefit and activities of sentient beings in this way, which is inconceivable. Moreover, inconceivability should be viewed from two causes: by the inexpressible meaning, beyond the scope of words.

Because it has passed, it is inconceivable; and because it transcends the world, there is no comparison in the world, therefore it is inconceivable. What is power? In short, the ten freedoms are called power, such as freedom over life, as stated in the Earth Store Sutra. What are the means? In short, the four types of emanations are called means, for the sake of maturing beings who are not yet mature, the emanation of the bodhisattva's conduct; for the sake of liberating beings who are already mature, the means of fully holding the emanation of the body of the Thus-Gone One simultaneously in hundreds of billions of Jambudvipa in the three-thousand-great-thousand world realm; for those who are tamed by the Hearers, the emanation of the Hearers; for those who are tamed by the Solitary Buddhas, the emanation of the Solitary Buddhas. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, should be regarded as possessing unobstructed power over these four types of emanations in the ten directions. What is entering? This should also be regarded as two types: temporary entering and permanent entering. Temporary entering refers to the fact that as long as beings are not yet mature and liberated, the emanations of the Buddhas will enter. Permanent entering refers to the fact that the nature of the Buddhas is imperishable and inconceivable, and they enter in order to accomplish the deeds of beings as long as the world exists. What is returning? This should also be regarded as two types: temporary returning and permanent returning. Temporary returning refers to the fact that when beings have become mature and liberated, the Buddhas demonstrate parinirvana and return. Permanent returning should be understood from the complete exhaustion of afflictions together with their imprints and the causes of suffering together with their abodes. If praising benefits the Thus-Gone One, how should it be understood? How does praising benefit oneself? It is through practicing in a way that benefits oneself, not through praise itself. Otherwise, the Thus-Gone One would be moved by praise, like this
