If asked, what does the nature of the completely imputed depend on to be completely imputed? The answer is: It depends on the nature of other-powered. If asked, what does the nature of other-powered depend on to be other-powered? The answer is: It depends on causes and conditions. If asked, what does the nature of the thoroughly established depend on to be thoroughly established? The answer is: It depends on the very absence of complete affliction of all afflictions and sufferings, and on the nature of permanence. Then, how should one understand that the wisdom that grasps the meaning of Suchness is non-conceptual, as it is said, "Wisdom is non-conceptual"? Is it because of non-attention? Or because of complete transcendence? Or because of non-existence? Or because of nature? Or is it non-conceptual because of manifestly attending to the object? If it is because of non-attention, then it cannot be called possessing proper attention, because sleep, intoxication, and extreme intoxication would also be included. If it is because of complete transcendence, then how would it not contradict the scriptures that say, "The minds and mental factors of the three realms are conceptual"? If it is because of non-existence, then wisdom would not become a mental factor. If it is because of nature, then how would wisdom not become the nature of essence and complete purity? If it is because of manifestly attending to the object, then how would it not be slandering the very absence of manifest attention of non-conceptual wisdom? Since these ways are unreasonable, how should one view wisdom as non-conceptual? The answer is: It is because there is no manifest attention to the object. Its object is Suchness, the Dharma-nature that does not contradict things and non-things, and Suchness is also non-conceptual. Although there is no manifest attention, due to the force of past habits, when the wisdom endowed with the Samadhi of Suchness arises, the sign of the object will manifestly appear, and that is called non-conceptual. End of the chapter on the meaning of Suchness.

The determination is complete. The inconceivable power of Bodhisattvas should be understood through five causes. What are the five? Because it completely transcends all conceptualizations; because there is no example in the world to be taken as a reference; because that power is only related to a mind that has been extremely tamed; because it is completely incompatible with the mind of a non-meditative state with distinctions; and because it is related to the mind of a meditative state with distinctions. These ten practices of the Dharma by Bodhisattvas in the Great Vehicle will cause sentient beings to be completely ripened. What are the ten? They are: writing and upholding the Dharma, such as the Sutras containing the Great Vehicle, which are collected by the Bodhisattva Pitaka; similarly, making offerings; giving to others; listening respectfully when the teacher speaks; reading oneself; similarly, fully receiving the scriptures; widely reciting the received scriptures with melody; widely and correctly teaching others; going alone to a solitary place to think, measure, and closely examine; and following in the manner of meditation. Among these ten practices of Dharma, which is the path for generating great merit? It is said: All of them. Which is the path of union? It is said: One, the ninth. Which is the path of purifying obscurations? It is said: One, the tenth. The remaining part of the determination text that is similar to this is not apparent. In the chapter on the collection of the Great Vehicle in the Ground Arising from Hearing, as previously shown, enlightenment should be understood from five aspects: nature, power, means, entry, and reversal. What is the detailed classification of that? What is the nature of great enlightenment? It is the transformed basis that is particularly superior to the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas. This can be understood in four ways: the place of entry, the place of non-entry, the result of thoroughly examining the knowable, and the characteristic of the completely pure realm of Dharma. Among these, the place of entry is:
