It is called rare. Because of having and enjoying wealth for a long time, they will say: Such a person as you is rare in the world, because you possess such unshakable glory and power. They will also express such wishes: Since you possess such a sacred title, before long, all your enemies will be destroyed, completely annihilated, conquered, and killed. If you possess such a title, you will possess the glory of outstretched hands and unshakable power. Regarding the homes of friends and the homes that give to beggars, they will also think: These houses are mine, not to be taken by other ascetics and Brahmins. They will also be attached to, cling to, grasp, bind, be infatuated with, especially attached to, and extremely attached to whatever they obtain, such as Dharma robes, food, bedding, cushions, etc., and enjoy them to the fullest. Therefore, the Brahmin caste correctly engages in meritorious deeds, namely, proclaiming sacrifices accompanied by the killing of various kinds of creatures, and proclaiming that the fruit of the sacrifice is an eternal state. When engaging in sacrifices, those who are invited as guests also envy and fight with each other because they want to possess all kinds of the best things. It should be known that these three ways are the correct engagement in meritorious deeds. The Brahmin caste's contemplation on the fruit is like this: The Asura caste is the caste that should be killed. The caste of the gods is eternal. The caste of the Brahmins is the highest. Other castes are inferior. The Brahmin caste is vast, born from Brahma, transformed by Brahma, and enjoys the share of Brahma, up to such statements. The Brahmin caste's contemplation on the fruit should be understood through such thoughts and words.

Therefore, those of the Brahmin caste, regarding these three places, firmly hold that "this alone is the truth, and others are false," and cling to them, thus making designations. What are the three faults that cause the mind to become flawed? They are the fault of speech, the fault of pride, and the fault of faith. Regarding these three places themselves, whatever introduces wrong speech should be recognized as the fault of speech. Establishing three bad places and always speaking bad words, relying on others to consider oneself great, equal, or small, whatever arrogance arises from this should be recognized as the fault of pride. Regarding these three places themselves, without examining merits and faults, simply believing in these places, even if the Buddhas and the Buddha's Shravakas skillfully teach and skillfully follow and reveal, they do not skillfully abide in places and non-places, do not skillfully abide in complete examination, do not skillfully abide in the path, and do not skillfully abide in auspicious speech, it should be recognized as their fault of faith. It should also be recognized that these three faults are all caused by the fault of wrong views. Therefore, those of the Brahmin caste, because they possess these three faults in these three places, are actually classified as non-Brahmins. Even if they are not of the Brahmin caste, whoever establishes these three places from truth and correctness, because their minds are not defiled by the three faults in these three places, even if they are not of the Brahmin caste, they are actually classified as those called Brahmins. What are these three places? Saying "all sentient beings should not be killed," speaking this first place, what is spoken is the truth, not falsehood. Therefore, their first place is not defiled by the fault of speech. Because they speak this place and the truth, they do not rely on others to consider themselves great, equal, or small, therefore, regarding this place, they have a mind that is not truly defiled by the fault of pride.

Those who abide in that place, focusing on the discrimination of merits and faults, thereby truly seeing the increase of virtuous dharmas, benefiting beings with innocent body and mind, and dwelling happily in this life. With a loving nature towards all beings, they practice day and night and abide there many times. Others do not go to that place out of faith, but I myself can well realize the truth, therefore they are true and have no obvious attachment. Therefore, it should be known that they possess a mind that is not defiled by the fault of craving. Similarly, "all conditioned things are impermanent" is the second place. The rest is the same as before. "All dharmas are without self" is the third place. The rest should be understood as before. The difference is that for the second truth, it should be said that by observing the arising and ceasing of all conditioned things, they practice day and night and abide there many times. For the third truth, it should be said that in the manner of not clinging to all dharmas as self, they practice day and night and abide there many times. Abiding in these three places, their minds cannot be truly defiled by these three faults, those people, even if they are not of the Brahmin caste, are actually counted among the Brahmins. The three places that make one a Brahmin, being free from the three faults of truth, can only be fully realized by the Thus Come One. These are the extensive explanations of the meaning of what is said in the sutras, such as "not killing all beings," and "whatever is of the nature of arising is all of the nature of cessation," and "there is no self and no belonging to self, nothing is mine, nothing is anything, nowhere is there anything. I am also nothing, nothing is anything, nowhere is there anything," and so on, which should be understood. If asked, what are the occasions of the aggregates? It is said: There are many, not with mind, such as: attainment, and the samadhi of non-perception, etc., which should be understood as previously explained in detail. Where is attainment established? What kinds of attainment are there?
