The eye of wisdom, the eye of Dharma, and the eye of the Buddha. How about atoms? If it is said what is the object and realm of which eye? All atoms are the object and realm of the eyes other than the eye of flesh and the eye of the gods. Why is that? Thus, the eye of the gods only holds the aggregates of form, both inside and outside, below, above, in front, behind, with light and darkness, but does not distinguish atoms very finely. Because the nature of atoms is determined and established by wisdom. Why is it said that atoms are neither born nor destroyed? It is said: Because at first everything gathers and arises, and until the end there is also a combination that has not become the stage of atoms. Like a drop of water. Here, thinking of atoms in five ways should be understood as inappropriate attention. That is, holding that the aggregate of form abides with the nature of atoms, it should be understood that this is inappropriate attention to thinking about atoms. Holding that atoms arise and cease, holding atoms, atomicity, separation, holding that the aggregate of form is only the stage of atoms, etc., holding that the aggregation of atoms gives rise to the aggregate of form turning into a different matter, it should also be understood that this is inappropriate attention to thinking about atoms. Here, with proper diligence, one should abandon those five kinds of inappropriate attention and think about atoms. Here, establishing atoms has five benefits, namely, establishing the extremely fine distinction of minute objects, it becomes the cause of clarity for the objects of yogis, this is the first benefit. Becoming the cause of abandoning the view of the perishable collection, is the second benefit. Just as abandoning the view of the perishable collection, so it becomes the cause of abandoning pride, is the third benefit. Thus, becoming the cause of subduing the entanglement of afflictions, is the fourth benefit. Quickly in signs

The cause of complete destruction becomes the fifth benefit. Thus, that which is similar to this is the thought of the subtle. Regarding the arising of material substances, in brief, it should be observed in five ways, namely, arising from a place, arising from a seed, arising from projection, arising from benefit, and arising from harm. Among these, arising from a place means that relying on the great elements, in the direction of the great elements, a form arises from a cause other than it. Therefore, the form that relies on the four great elements and becomes a cause is called taking closely from one side. Among these, from where does the aggregate of form arise, and what is it that the form as a cause appears from its own characteristics, it should be known that it exists there. Where nothing appears, it should be known that it does not exist there. Thus, this is a brief summary of the characteristics of existence and non-existence. If something does not appear in a certain place, but it exists there as it appears, then will it become something of the same essence as it, or something of a different essence? If it is said to be of the same essence, then it is not possible because it does not appear. If it is said to be something of a different essence, then is that something of a different essence just like that, or from power? If it is said to be just from that, then it is not possible because nothing at all appears. If it is said to be from power, then it is not possible because no other power different from the characteristic appears. Therefore, it should be known that what is similar to this is arising from a place. Among these, arising from a seed means that which arises from its own seed. For example, sometimes when conditions are close, a solid aggregate becomes soft, and a soft one becomes solid. Cold becomes warm, and warm becomes cold. Motionless becomes moving, and moving becomes motionless. Similarly, the distinctions of good color and bad color, etc., should also be known. Thus, even if there is no own characteristic, if there is a realm, then from this and that aggregate, this and that particular material dharma will arise.

Therefore, it should be understood that what is similar to this is born from seeds. Secondly, what is born from throwing is like this: because of the power of the internal form sense organs, external solid objects arise, such as the vessel world and so on. The internal sources of birth also arise from the throwing of past actions. Secondly, the enjoyment objects of the gods who dwell near desire and the people of Uttarakuru who dwell near desire should be understood to arise from repeated throwing. For humans, it is from the indicated vessels and so on. Therefore, it should be understood that what is similar to this is born from throwing. Secondly, what is born from helping is like this: those and those form dharmas, relying on those and those helping conditions, become extremely fat, and very fat, and extremely excellent, and especially superiorly born, like sprouts of things moistened by water and so on. Therefore, it should be understood that what is similar to this is born from helping. The opposite of this should be understood to be born from harming. Secondly, from accumulation, like stringing together various substances and mixing them with water to establish them, one should do for birth.
