Because I am. Therefore, noble Śrāvakas strive only with the transcendental wisdom arising from the actual reality up to that point, and not with that arising from approximation. The wisdom of those at the peak of existence is also entirely encompassed by conventional wisdom. Why is that? Because the attention in that state is the very nature of the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception. It is incompatible with transcendental attention. Transcendental attention is encompassed by absorption in perception. That should be regarded as having the limit from the ground of learning up to conventional wisdom. From the knowledge of exhaustion and the knowledge of non-arising that exist in the continuum of an Arhat, up to all the qualities such as supernormal cognition that are encompassed by conventional wisdom, it is worldly, utterly pure in the later limit, without outflows, completely liberated from all pervasive formations. Bodhisattvas, from the ground of practice by aspiration up to the ultimate ground of going, in the first, middle, and last, in all of those, it should be understood that it is only conventional wisdom. Among these, the first is the ground of practice by aspiration. The middle is from the ground of pure higher intention up to the ground of definite conduct. The last is the ultimate ground of going. On those grounds, two kinds of wisdom arise for Bodhisattvas: the aspect of acting with conceptual proliferation, and the aspect of acting without conceptual proliferation. Because that has been thoroughly cultivated, having become a Tathāgata, subsequently, one obtains the knowledge similar to the transcendental, without obscurations, encompassed by conventional wisdom. Bodhisattvas also have wisdom similar to aspirational knowledge, and that is superior to the aspirational knowledge of all Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas. Supernormal cognition and so forth, and wisdom such as emptiness and so forth, should also be understood in the same way. Bodhisattvas enter into the lineage of the ten powers. Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas

Because these wisdoms are not mundane. Therefore, it should be observed that temporary mundane wisdom appears in the initial, intermediate, and final stages. The initial, intermediate, and final stages of supramundane wisdom are the path of seeing, the path of meditation, and the path of learning. Among them, that which corresponds to the category of Dharma-knowledge of the path of seeing is the antidote to what is to be abandoned by seeing in the desire realm. That which corresponds to the category of subsequent knowledge is the antidote to what is to be abandoned by seeing in the form and formless realms. If subsequent knowledge manifests, then can all these wisdoms realize the form and formless realms? It is said: If he has previously heard, contemplated, and received the form and formless realms, then he can realize them. If not, he cannot realize them. The remaining wisdoms should be understood as corresponding to the categories of Dharma-knowledge and subsequent knowledge in the categories of higher vision and quiescence. Among them, when the first moment of wisdom of the path of seeing arises, the conditions for the arising of other wisdoms are fully present, the accumulation of merit is fully complete, and all the paths of seeing can be obtained in the same moment. After obtaining them, it should be observed that they will gradually manifest, and it should be known that the path of seeing arises quickly. The path of meditation is if one strives to abandon desire by means of the supramundane path, then its supramundane paths, etc., should be observed like the previous path of application. Among them, if one practices the truths of suffering, etc., with conceptual proliferation, then mundane wisdom arises; if one practices with non-conceptual proliferation, then supramundane wisdom arises. With conceptualization with signs, one can well grasp the signs of how one truly sees and how one truly realizes, and one can also become skilled and proficient in various wisdoms. The aspects of worldly weariness can also cause the mind to arise with weariness, and can

It also transforms into (wisdom). Therefore, noble beings also strive to be free from desire through worldly paths. In the state of non-learning, contemplating that transcendent wisdom, in order to be liberated from the afflictions to be abandoned, it is extremely pure, and it becomes the place and basis of all worldly virtues, and it is that which can freely control all the virtues of the lower and upper realms, that is transcendent wisdom. Therefore, it should be observed that transcendent wisdom arises in this way in the beginning, middle, and end. Among them, the knowledge of the realm of magical powers, some arise from practice, and some are heard from birth. Among them, arising from practice is like this: here, the fruit of the practice of ordinary beings, learners, non-learners, and Bodhisattvas who are born here. What is obtained from birth refers to what is obtained from birth later by those born in the realm of form relying on previous practice, and what is obtained by the power of merit by gods who enjoy desire and some people, like King Nala. Magical powers are also possessed by birds gathered by similar kinds and some pretas. The power of jewels, secret mantras, and medicinal power is also like this, such as killing, curses, zombies, and half-zombies, which are called magical powers. Through the same method of classification, the power of these other four kinds of clairvoyance should also be understood appropriately. Among them, the objects to be known should be regarded as all dharmas, and these should also be appropriately understood by wisdom. In order to know the objects to be known, the classification of wisdom is also established in five ways. What are the five? They are the classification of place and object, the classification of loss and non-loss, the classification of inferior and superior, the classification of mental factors, and the conflicting factors and antidotes.
