It is considered to be of the lineage of the deceased, therefore there is no fault. Following the arisen dharmas that transcend the world, it should be understood from the arising of the power of transformation. That is, it is the antidote to the ālaya-vijñāna, not the ālaya-vijñāna, and the realm of the uncontaminated, the non-proliferation. Chapter Four. So, what is expression? In short, there are three types: afflicted, virtuous, and neutral. Among them, regarding the ten non-virtuous deeds of body, speech, and mind, without abandoning them, constantly engaging in them, taking them as the main guide, whatever expression is made by the actions of the body and the actions of speech is called afflicted expression. Completely abandoning these, truly upholding them, whatever expression is made by the actions of the body and the actions of speech is called virtuous expression. Arising from conduct, or arising from craftsmanship, whatever expression is made by the actions of the body and the actions of speech by some is called neutral expression. Not expressing to others, but generating one's own mind, from the internal mental discrimination, practicing virtuous, afflicted, and neutral dharmas, without even speaking, this is called mental expression. Among them, the mere appearance of the body moving from one place to another, and the occurrence of change in that place, is bodily expression. Mere speech is speech expression. Similarly, the mind manifestly constructs, the mere arising of thought is mental expression. Why? Because all constructions are momentary, it is impossible to move from one place to another. Apart from the arising of construction, other actions cannot be observed even by the eyes, ears, and mind. Therefore, it should be understood that expression also exists after investigation. Among them, for someone who has already been born into a non-ordained lineage, thinking "I should sustain myself with this," and being content with that way of sustaining oneself, is...

At that time, it should be said that there is no restraint. Belonging to non-discipline, with improper attention, destroyed by the extremely firm, for the sake of restraining the mind, until, arising from killing, or from other non-virtuous paths, practicing, at that time also possesses a vast root of non-virtue. From what and from where and for how long one practices, then during that time, most of it is possessed of non-virtue. Just as one is born into the category of non-discipline, no matter who, no matter from where they come, the arising of the mind also increases in the same way, it should be known. That until the mind of non-discipline is not abandoned, at that time it should be said that there is no restraint, that like one day, the mind increases and so on, practicing that action, it should be known that non-merit manifestly increases. That perverted aspiration mind, lack of faith and, laziness and forgetfulness and, distraction and, possessing wrong wisdom, from that truly taking, initiating that action, that also until it is not abandoned by the cause of abandoning, before completely abandoning, from then on also, from the seed and habituation, belonging to the continuum arising, is called non-discipline. Regarding that sinful action's ripening fruit, not believing that in the future it will become unpleasant, not believing and not following, that is lack of faith. Regarding that manifestly rejoicing and acting as desired, not delighting in taming, that is laziness. Regarding the Dharma that possesses faults, regarding possessing faults, not truly declaring as possessing faults, that is forgetfulness. The mind's continuum is scattered and, possessing afflictions and, unstably acting, that is distraction. Regarding seeing faults as virtues, the mind's continuum acting perversely, that is wrong wisdom. Being controlled by evil precepts, possessing lack of faith and so on, those non-virtuous
