The meaning of aging, and the meaning of the complete destruction of characteristics. The meaning of suffering should also be understood in two ways: the meaning of the bad situation of the habit of clinging to non-existent things, and the meaning of the arising of characteristics such as the three feelings and related births. The meaning of emptiness should also be understood in two ways: the meaning of the characteristic of being devoid of the self-nature of the person, and the meaning of the characteristic of being devoid of the self-nature of phenomena. The meaning of selflessness should also be understood in two ways: for example, starting from the teachings of the Mahayana and the teachings of the Shravakayana, the meaning of the characteristic of selflessness in the self-nature of Dharma, and the meaning of the characteristic of selflessness in the self-nature of the person. There are two kinds of teachings: teaching impermanence and teaching beginninglessness. There are also two kinds of realization: realizing the realm of the conditioned and realizing the realm of the unconditioned. Whatever is impermanent is suffering, which should be understood through five reasons: it is also due to grasping, because of grasping the bad situation of the impermanent aggregates. It is also due to Dharma-nature, because birth etc. are the Dharma-nature of suffering. It is also due to being related, because it is related to the three sufferings. It is also due to cause, because it is the cause of ignorant behavior. It is also due to clinging, because it is the basis of inverted clinging. Whatever is suffering is selfless, which should also be understood through five reasons: because in the suffering aggregates, it is not considered to be another meaning; because their cause is other's independence; because it is immovable; because it follows the continuum of cessation and arising; because it is the independence of each other. Whatever is suffering is all undesirable, unpleasant, painful, harmful, and discordant. Whatever is undesirable, unpleasant, painful, harmful, and discordant is all the truth of suffering.

What is it? For the time being, whatever is undesirable, unpleasant, painful, harmful, and disharmonious should be regarded as the truth of suffering. What is encompassed by the truth of suffering, from undesirable, unpleasant to disharmonious, is not without, except for the formations encompassed by the suffering of suffering itself, there are other sufferings of change itself, and the formations encompassed by the suffering of formation itself. The Blessed One divided the truth of suffering into eight aspects, from the suffering of birth, the suffering of aging, etc., to, in short, the five aggregates of grasping are suffering. So, among these eight divisions, how many fully reveal the suffering of suffering itself? How many fully reveal the suffering of change itself? How many fully reveal the suffering of formation itself? The first five fully reveal the suffering of suffering itself. The middle two fully reveal the suffering of change itself, because separation from the pleasant leads to encountering the unpleasant, and the lack of desire changes due to not obtaining. Finally, in short, the five aggregates of grasping are suffering, this single one fully reveals the suffering of formation itself. Is whatever is impermanent also suffering, and is whatever is suffering also impermanent? For the time being, whatever is suffering is also impermanent; but there is also what is impermanent but not suffering, such as the truth of the path. Because the path is not encompassed by the feeling of suffering, and the path is not change, how can it be thought that change produces suffering? Moreover, the path is completely liberated from all the evil destinies that are in accordance with the afflictions, and is not in accordance with all the continuity of birth, therefore, it is also not suffering by the suffering of formation itself. Is whatever is impermanent and suffering empty and without self? It should be said that it is so. Whatever is empty and without self

If asked, are all those feelings impermanent and painful? Answer: For this question, all four aspects of the truth of origin are so. The truth of the path also has three aspects. The truth of cessation has only two aspects, it is neither impermanent nor painful. If asked, are all that are impermanent and painful, painful because of impermanence? Answer: There are those who are painful because of impermanence, and there are those who are painful by nature. Among them, those actions that are painful because of the pain of change, those are painful because of impermanence. Those who are painful because of the pain of suffering and the pain of action, those are painful by nature, because they are the nature of harm and abide in suffering. If asked, is all that is the truth of suffering also the truth of origin? Is all that is the truth of origin also the truth of suffering? Answer: For the time being, all that is the truth of origin is also the truth of suffering. However, there are those that are the truth of suffering, but are not the truth of origin. For example, worldly virtuous dharmas and unspecified dharmas arising from the pure continuum of an Arhat, and all the ripened results of unspecified dharmas of ordinary beings, and all unspecified actions that arise from the actions of a person that are associated with pleasant, painful, and neither painful nor pleasant feelings that are presently occurring. It should be seen that all such actions are included only in the truth of suffering. If asked, why are those worldly dharmas that dispel the existence of rebirth and do not incline towards it, and generate the transcendental path, included in the truth of origin? Answer: Although those dharmas do not incline towards the existence of rebirth in their essence, however, because they are well practiced and in accordance with the body, speech, and mind of those who are reborn, therefore, they are also included in the truth of origin.
