All of these are done for the sake of honoring and enjoying with a mixed mind, but verbally they strongly urge for the sake of compassion. They proclaim that they will grant full ordination. Those who live with them, and those who are disciples, also always constantly honor and enjoy, thereby guarding their minds. If they are negligent, they are happy, satisfied, and helpful, but they do not treat others who are not negligent in this way. They honor, regard as teachers, serve, and offer to those monks who are famous and have gains such as Dharma robes. But to those monks who are not famous and have qualities such as few desires, they despise, degrade, and harm. Regarding the use of the Sangha or individuals, they feel little regret for using it, and they completely gather those who have broken their vows, and they take sides. Some feel little regret, while others feel very great regret. Most people uphold hearing for the sake of fame, sound, verses, gains, and respect, but not for the sake of taming themselves. The Shravakas of the end times will become endowed with completely defiled Dharmas that are like that and like this. When the teacher has completely passed into Nirvana and the teachings are close to decline, most people, after their bodies break down and die, will also fall into evil destinies and evil paths, and be born among hell beings. Shravakas born in good times should be known to be the opposite of this, endowed with completely undefiled Dharmas. When the teacher appears and the teachings have not developed bubbles, and the Tathagata has newly appeared, most people, after their bodies break down and die, will be reborn in good destinies, heavenly realms, among gods and humans. Some even completely pass into Nirvana. The Shravaka of ordinary beings is called "not having attained the eye." Stream-enterers, once-returners, and non-returners are called "having attained the eye." Arhats know.

Those who are completely liberated are called perfectly pure eyes. Those who possess the three kinds of knowledge and are liberated from both parts are called exceedingly pure eyes. Even if a Shravaka disciple has truly eliminated everything as it is, it is still possible that they may not attain merit beyond human qualities in this lifetime. Some Shravaka disciples, although capable and powerful enough to attain the fruits of practice beyond human qualities in this lifetime, may still fail to attain them due to negligence. The explanation of the Sutra like the Moon is that these four Dharmas are the Dharmas that cause faith to arise in Shravaka disciples. If these Dharmas are seen or heard by the masses, then through body, speech, and mind, a great amount of merit will be accumulated. What are these four Dharmas? Abiding in the possession of precepts, being bound by the Pratimoksha precepts, possessing perfect rituals, possessing perfect conduct, and even fearing the slightest faults, as it is said in the Sutra, correctly upholding the precepts and engaging in learning, this is the first Dharma. Furthermore, from "having few desires and being content" to "praising for the sake of directly realizing the wisdom of the exhaustion of defilements," this is the second Dharma. Furthermore, being happy in the company of those who are certain, associating equally with those who practice pure conduct, having a nature of non-harming towards the wise, monks also delight in abiding together with him, and possessing the four kinds of faith after knowing, this is the third Dharma. Furthermore, not being attached to gains, not being attached to respect, being compassionate to others, not boasting of good deeds, confessing sins, possessing true qualities, if others therefore know that I possess such qualities, how wonderful it would be, not seeking the benefit of knowledge from others, this is the fourth Dharma. Shravaka disciples who wish to enter lay life should abandon the three kinds of near afflictions in order to enter lay life. What are these three? Completely clinging to the homes of friends, being stingy towards the home, and giving Dharma with a defiled mind. For Shravaka disciples, there are six ways to become a friend's
