Or, in detail, take the characteristics as before. Relying on the second non-absorbed ground, one should strive to obtain mental engagement. Relying on the third non-absorbed ground, one should strive to obtain the actual practice. Abiding in the fourth ground, from the very beginning, one should not be distracted, and mindfulness should be established. Even if the mind becomes distracted, it should be quickly and swiftly drawn back with awareness. Abiding in the fifth ground, one should be skilled in attending to the characteristics of great joy and recognizing the characteristics of discouragement. Abiding in the sixth ground, one should mostly protect the instructions without forgetting them, and one should also strive in mindfulness, proper effort, constant practice, and respectful practice. Abiding in the seventh ground, one should not be content with obtaining only a small or insignificant samadhi. Abiding in the eighth ground, one should view all afflictions as faults, and one should not accept the arising of all afflictions such as savoring. Abiding in the ninth ground, one should constantly apply oneself to samadhi, and one should also be skilled in recognizing characteristics. Abiding in the tenth ground, one should constantly and mostly strive in being skilled in truth. Abiding in the eleventh ground, one should be careful in order not to completely degenerate. Abiding in the twelfth ground, one should rely on extreme solitude, and one should gradually cultivate proper mental engagement with the practice of constant practice and respectful practice. The determination of the non-absorbed ground is complete. The remaining text of the determination is not apparent. Starting from the ground of having mind, the determination is as follows: The activities of the mind, in brief, should be understood as five aspects: the establishment of the aspect of conventional truth, the establishment of the aspect of ultimate truth, the establishment of the place and abiding, the establishment of co-emergent things, and the establishment of afflictions and purification. Among these, the activity of establishing the aspect of conventional truth is: for example, it should be understood as previously shown in the ground of mind. Among these, the establishment of the aspect of ultimate truth will be explained, that is,

So, what is the way to enter by establishing the true nature of reality? In short, there are two kinds of consciousness: the alaya consciousness and the entering consciousness. Among them, the alaya consciousness is the basis. The entering consciousness is the one that abides, that is, the eye consciousness, and so on, up to the mind and the mind consciousness. It is like a stream of water and waves, or a mirror and an image. Thus, this is the establishment of the basis and the abiding by establishing the true nature of reality. Then, all those consciousnesses are also called mind, also called intellect, and also called consciousness. The alaya consciousness is actually the mind, just as it is the accumulation and near accumulation of all seeds. It also constantly focuses on the cause of taking, and indiscriminately or unifiedly focuses on the container. Intellect is always characterized by the conceited mind of "I" and "mine." Consciousness is the characteristic of distinguishing each object. The state of mind is: if the entering consciousness such as eye consciousness does not arise, then the three, mind, intellect, and mind consciousness, always arise and enter together, it should be understood. If it arises, then it should be understood even more that it arises and enters together with them. Thus, sometimes it is four, and sometimes even up to eight arise and enter together, it should be understood. One mind consciousness can simultaneously distinguish one or two or many objects, as well as its own objects and the objects of others, therefore, the entry of the mind consciousness is said to be inconceivable. If the mind always enters with the stream of the nature of conceit, then how should the transcendent mind spoken by the Bhagavan be established? The answer is: it is established only by the imputation of name, but not as it is in reality. Another case is that it is because of truly and non-pervertedly attending with the antidote. Based on this, thus establish
