Therefore, it becomes the place of all dharmas that are in accordance with the aspects of enlightenment. Due to three reasons, this is uncommon to non-Buddhist ascetics and Brahmins: namely, from a completely purified ground, all accumulations are perfected; one does not taste the essence of tranquility; and in a mind that delights in and is attached to nirvana, there is no place for the fire of afflictions to arise. Based on the complete perfection of this fully cultivated mindfulness, there are four completely pure results: dwelling in a village, there is no proximate affliction generated by worldly dharmas; dwelling in a solitary place, there is no proximate affliction generated by the solitary place; dwelling in a solitary place itself, there is no proximate affliction generated by the village; and dwelling in both, there is no proximate affliction where one must endure sufferings such as leakages. Based on not tasting the flavor of tranquility, there are five completely pure results: the four dhyanas are all pure, and the peaceful liberations, etc. Based on a mind that delights in and is attached to nirvana, there is no place for the fire of afflictions to arise, there are nine completely pure results: the first three results, and the six superknowledges. It should be known that the mindfulness belonging to the body is also included in five completely pure aspects: the completely pure ground of non-absorption, the completely pure ground of absorption, the completely pure ground of collection, the completely pure ground of uncommonness, and the completely pure result of uncommonness. Because it is associated with the body and belongs to it, it is called mindfulness belonging to the body, as it is said. This is a commentary on the Great Belly Sutra. There are two kinds of liberation: liberation through wisdom and liberation of mind. Among them, starting from liberation through wisdom, the sphere of activity of worldly wisdom is: one should understand from the distinction between misdeeds and good deeds, together with their basis. The nature is: the virtue and non-virtue of those very misdeeds and good deeds, together with their basis.
