It is because the enjoyment of objects is completely diminished, and because life is completely diminished. Sickness should also be understood as being painful in five aspects, namely: because the nature of the body changes; because suffering and displeasure manifestly increase and mostly abide therein; because one does not desire pleasant enjoyment of objects; because one must fully enjoy unpleasant enjoyment of objects unwillingly; and because one will be separated from the life force. Death should also be understood as being painful in five aspects: because one is separated from the excellent and complete enjoyment; because one is separated from the excellent and complete foundation; because one is separated from the excellent and complete retinue; because one is separated from the excellent and complete body; and because at the time of death one will experience extremely intense suffering and displeasure. Meeting with the unpleasant should also be understood as being painful in five aspects: because meeting with it is suffering and displeasure; because severance is a place of fear; because lack of kindness is a place of fear; because death like falling into an abyss is a place of fear; and because deviating from the Dharma is a place of fear of bad destinies. Separation from the pleasant should also be understood as being painful in five aspects: because separation from it gives rise to sorrow; similarly, because one utters lamentations; similarly, because it harms the body; because one remembers the qualities and desires them, and the mind is completely tormented; and because its enjoyment is incomplete. Just as the suffering of separation from the pleasant is understood, so too is the suffering of seeking what one desires but not finding it. In short, the five aggregates of grasping should also be understood as being painful, and as being painful in five aspects: because they are the vessel of manifest suffering; and because they are the vessel of suffering dependent on manifestation.

Because it is the vessel of the suffering of suffering, because it is the vessel of the suffering of change, and because it is the nature of the suffering of conditioning. The three types of people, the inferior person, the intermediate person, and the superior person, these are based on actions. Among them, the one who does not act for his own benefit, nor for the benefit of others, is the inferior person. Among them, the one who acts for his own benefit, but not for the benefit of others, and the one who acts for the benefit of others, but not for his own benefit, is the intermediate person. Among them, the one who acts for his own benefit and also for the benefit of others is the superior person. Furthermore, there are four types of individuals: there are those who commit evil but do not crave evil; there are those who crave evil but do not commit evil; there are those who commit evil and crave evil; and there are those who do not commit evil and do not crave evil. Among them, the one who does not desire the ripening of the fruit of evil in the future and has faith in this, but commits evil due to forgetfulness, carelessness, and associating with evil friends, is the one who commits evil but does not crave evil. The one who is accustomed to evil in the past, universally delights in evil, greatly delights in evil, and whose mind is captivated by the delight in evil, but who, relying on holy beings, hearing the Dharma, and relying on proper attention, correctly sees that the fruit of evil is undesirable in the future, and after examining and scrutinizing separately, returns from evil, is called the one who craves evil but does not commit evil. The one who by nature greatly delights in evil and does not return from evil is called the one who commits evil and craves evil. The one who by nature does not delight in evil and also returns from evil is called the one who does not commit evil and does not crave evil. Among them, the one who commits evil and craves evil should be regarded as an inferior person. The one who commits evil but does not crave evil,
