Beginning with, correctly understanding each definite word, and beginning with the thorough differentiation of the basis of all dharmas' aspects, correctly understanding each fearlessness, and the wisdom of the Bodhisattva that cuts off all others' accusations, and the wisdom of establishing all self's speech, and properly managing the household, and the wisdom of making the household prosperous, and the way of kings, and the ways of worldly terms, are the definite wisdom of the Bodhisattva. Then, what is the wisdom of the Bodhisattva that brings happiness in this life and the next? That should be understood as nine types: the wisdom that is extremely thoroughly purified and fully abiding in the inner knowledge, and the science of medicine, and the science of logic, and the science of language, and worldly craftsmanship, and the science of the place of work is extremely thoroughly purified, but the wisdom that is not fully abiding, relying on these five sciences being extremely thoroughly purified, for those who are ignorant and need to be tamed, and those who are careless, and those who are discouraged, and others who have entered the right path, in order, to correctly instruct, and to cause them to correctly uphold, and to correctly praise, and to cause them to correctly rejoice, is the wisdom of the Bodhisattva. Then, what is the completely pure wisdom of the Bodhisattva? That, in brief, should be understood as ten types: In order to grasp exactly how many meanings there are and how they exist, there are two aspects of that very meaning; in order to grasp cause and effect well, there are two aspects of entering; in order to fully know what is inverted and not inverted as it is, there are two aspects of taking; in order to fully know all that should be done and should not be done as it is, there are two aspects of means; in order to fully know that affliction is affliction and purification is purification as it is, there are also two aspects of the ultimate meaning. These ten distinctions of the five wisdoms of the Bodhisattvas should be understood as being purified by the supreme purity. Thus, the Bodhisattva

The wisdom of the Bodhisattvas is extremely excellent and immeasurable, and this will become the fruit of great Bodhi. Relying on it, the Bodhisattvas can perfect the Prajñāpāramitā, thereby realizing the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. It should be understood that this is a summary of the six pāramitās that the Bhagavan taught in a scattered manner in other sutras. In any sutra spoken by the Tathāgata, where the perfection of generosity or even the perfection of wisdom is taught or explained, it should be combined from the nature of generosity to the completely pure generosity, and the summary should be made accordingly. Similarly, the combination and summary of the attention to wisdom, such as discipline, should also be understood accordingly based on other teachings. Among the Bodhisattva practices of the Tathāgatas, the countless birth stories and ascetic practices, all those related to generosity should be understood as starting from generosity. Just as generosity is, similarly, all those related to discipline, patience, diligence, meditation, and wisdom should also be understood as starting from wisdom. Some start from generosity alone, some start from wisdom alone, some are a mixture of two, some are a mixture of three, some are a mixture of four, some are a mixture of five, and some should be understood as starting from all six perfections. These six perfections enable Bodhisattvas to correctly attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. They are called the great river of white Dharma, the great ocean of white Dharma, and are the great jewel that gives all beings the cause of all perfections. Therefore, the immeasurable accumulation of merit and wisdom that they correctly accomplish, the fruit of which is like being in accordance with unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, there is nothing else comparable.

The fourteenth chapter, the Wisdom Chapter, from the Yogic Ground of the Bodhisattva Ground. The summary should be understood as before. What is the nature of the Bodhisattva's pleasing speech? Here, the Bodhisattva speaking words that are pleasing, true, in accordance with the Dharma, and meaningful to sentient beings, this is, in brief, the nature of the Bodhisattva's pleasing speech. What are all the pleasing speeches of the Bodhisattvas? It should be viewed as threefold: Here, what is the speech of the Bodhisattva that makes one truly happy? That is, the Bodhisattva speaks frankly without a frown, with a smiling face, first saying words that bring happiness and well-being, or asking about well-being, or asking about comfort day and night, or saying "Come in, welcome," and so forth, in accordance with worldly customs and city ways, making each sentient being truly happy. What is the speech of the Bodhisattva that makes everyone happy? That is, when the Bodhisattva sees sentient beings who do not possess their own wealth, such as not possessing sons, wives, relatives, wealth, or grain, they praise and make them universally happy, or make them universally happy by possessing faith, discipline, learning, generosity, and wisdom. What is the speech of the Bodhisattva that possesses all qualities and is endowed with teaching the Dharma? It is for the benefit and happiness of sentient beings, constantly abiding without interruption, and benefiting with the supreme benefit. This should be known as the Bodhisattva's pleasing speech, which is everything by various distinctions. Moreover, all the pleasing speeches of the Bodhisattvas, in brief, should be viewed as twofold: corresponding to worldly customs and corresponding to teaching the true Dharma. Among them, what is the speech that makes one truly happy, and what is the speech that makes everyone happy, is worldly custom.
