And, if it is hearing and holding, hearing and accumulating, then there is no fault. If the mind constantly abides in the object of focus, and one strives to manifest the samadhi of a Bodhisattva, then there is no fault. If one's wisdom is very dull, unskilled in receiving the Dharma, unskilled in retaining it, and unskilled in keeping the mind evenly on the object of focus, then there is no fault. If a Bodhisattva knowingly despises a speaker of the Dharma, does not respect him, mocks and insults him, and relies on the words but not on the meaning, then it becomes a fault and a transgression, becoming a fault of affliction. If a Bodhisattva, regarding the activities of sentient beings abiding in vows, such as: deciding on activities, or going and coming on the road, or correct terminology, or applying to the limits of activities, or protecting possessions, or reconciling disputes, or celebrations, or doing meritorious deeds, does not help with a mind of pervasive distress and a mind of anger, then it becomes a fault and a transgression, becoming a fault of affliction. If one does not help due to idleness and laziness, then it becomes a non-afflictive fault. If one is sick and unable, then there is no fault. If one is able to do it oneself and has the resources but does not do it, then there is no fault. If one does not engage in activities that are harmful and do not possess the Dharma, then there is no fault. If one wants to subdue with that method, then there is no fault, as explained extensively before. If one has already promised others beforehand, then there is no fault. If one entrusts the ability to others, then there is no fault. If one constantly strives correctly in the direction of virtue, then there is no fault. If one is naturally dull-witted and unskilled in reciting, then there is no fault, as before. If one wants to protect the minds of many others, then there is no fault. If one wants to protect the internal rules of the Sangha, then there is no fault. If a Bodhisattva encounters a sick person afflicted by illness, and does not provide service and respect with a mind of pervasive distress and a mind of anger, then it becomes a fault and a transgression, becoming a fault of affliction. If one does not do it due to idleness and laziness, then it becomes a non-afflictive

It is a fault. If one is sick and unable to do it, there is no fault. If one entrusts it to another who is capable and compliant, there is no fault. If the patient has a protector and a support, there is no fault. If one is able to perform one's own service and reverence, there is no fault. If one is afflicted with a chronic illness and can only barely manage, there is no fault. If one is constantly diligent in the vast aspects of virtue, and does not do it in order to protect what becomes an obstacle to the aspects of virtue, there is no fault. If one is very dull-witted and unable to teach the Dharma well, unable to comprehend well, and unable to focus the mind on the object, there is no fault. If one has promised another long ago, there is no fault. Regarding the service of the sick, one should understand that being a friend who alleviates the suffering of suffering is also similar to that. If a Bodhisattva sees beings engaging in this life and future lives in an improper manner, if, with a mind of universal torment and a mind of anger, they do not teach in a rational and proper manner, it will be faulty and contradictory, becoming a fault of affliction. If one does not teach due to laziness and indolence, it will become a non-afflictive fault. If I do not know and cannot do it, there is no fault. If one entrusts it to someone capable, there is no fault. If he himself is capable, there is no fault. If one is seized by another virtuous friend, there is no fault. If one wishes to tame with that method, there is no fault. In detail, it is as before. If the person to whom one should teach with reason has a mind of universal torment and, due to displeasure, holds wrong views, and is of a stubborn nature without joy and respect, there is no fault. If a Bodhisattva does not appreciate or recognize the help given to sentient beings, and with a mind of universal torment, does not reciprocate the help given with compliance, it will be faulty and contradictory, becoming a fault of affliction. If one does not do it due to laziness and indolence, it will become a non-afflictive fault. If one has tried one's best but is still unable to do it, there is no fault. If one wishes to tame with that method, there is no fault, as before. If he himself reciprocates the help
