and the power of diligence, meditation, and wisdom. In short, the power of these practices such as generosity can be summarized into four aspects: abandoning opposing factors, perfecting accumulations, benefiting oneself and others, and producing results in future lives. When a Bodhisattva practices generosity, they also abandon the opposing factor of generosity, which is stinginess. Their generosity also becomes a source of their own enlightenment, and through the object of generosity, they also bring beings to maturity. Before giving, the mind is joyful; during the act of giving, the mind is pleased; and after giving, there is no regret. With a mind of great joy in the three times, one benefits oneself; by relieving the hunger, thirst, cold, heat, sickness, lack of desires, and the suffering of fear of others, one benefits others; and in future lives, wherever one is born, one will become wealthy, have great possessions, be powerful, have many servants, and will also be inclined towards generosity. Thus, these four aspects are the power of generosity; there is nothing else besides this, and there is nothing more superior to this. When a Bodhisattva properly takes the precepts of body and speech, they also abandon the opposing factor of precepts, which is immoral conduct. Their properly taken precepts also become a source of enlightenment, and through the object of accordance with Dharma, they also bring beings to maturity. By abandoning the fear, faults, and hatred caused by the factors of immoral conduct, one benefits oneself, being able to sleep peacefully and wake up peacefully. Similarly, one who possesses precepts has no regret and, from great joy, progresses to the samadhi of the mind, thus benefiting oneself. Towards all beings, by not harming them in any way, one performs the giving of fearlessness, thus benefiting others. After the body disintegrates, one will also be reborn in the happy realms of the heavens because of this.

also delights in discipline. Thus, these four are the power of discipline, and there is nothing higher than this, nor is there anything more excellent than this. A Bodhisattva who possesses patience also abandons impatience, which is contrary to patience. That patience also becomes a factor of enlightenment, and because of its consistency, it also brings beings to complete maturity. Because it also completely protects oneself and others from great fears, that patience also benefits oneself and others. Because of that foundation, the Bodhisattva will not have many grudges in the future, there will not be many people suffering, there will not be much unpleasantness, even in this life one will die without regret, and after the body is destroyed, one will be born among the gods in the heavens of the good realms, and one will also delight in patience. Thus, these four are the power of patience, and there is nothing higher than this, nor is there anything more excellent than this. When a Bodhisattva exerts diligence and abides, he also abandons laziness, which is contrary to diligence. That diligence becomes a collection of enlightenment, and it is also a basis, and because of its consistency, it also brings beings to complete maturity. When diligence is exerted and one abides in happiness without being mixed with sinful and unwholesome dharmas, seeing that it has become more and more enhanced than before, one rejoices and is extremely happy, and it also benefits oneself. Because of diligence in the direction of virtue, one does not harm others with body and speech, and one also causes other beings to generate the desire to exert diligence, and thus one also benefits others. In the future, one will also have the power of cause and will be very happy with the ability of a man. Thus, these four are the power of diligence, and there is nothing higher than this, nor is there anything more excellent than this. When a Bodhisattva enters into meditative concentration, he also abandons the afflictive verbal thoughts that are contrary to meditative concentration, as well as the near afflictions such as joy, pleasure, and the perception of form. That meditative concentration
