It abides closely with a mind of compassion, striving to eliminate their faults to the best of its ability. Towards beings who cause harm, it abides closely with a mind of loving-kindness, in order to abandon the mind of animosity caused by the harmful ones' own thoughts and the faults of their actions, sincerely accomplishing benefit and happiness to the best of its ability. Towards beings who offer repayment, it abides closely with equal or greater benefit in return, fulfilling their thoughts in accordance with the Dharma to the best of its ability. Even without power, it respectfully demonstrates effort in accomplishing those things for them without being asked. It does not give up after doing it only a few times, but makes them know, 'It is because I am unable to do it, not because I am unwilling.' Know that those who act in accordance with this are Bodhisattvas who have entered the path of non-proliferation, and that it is a true effort based on knowing that alone is supreme. Then, by what reasoning can one understand that all dharmas are of an inexpressible nature? Regarding the imputation of self-characteristics to dharmas, such as that which is called form, or that which is called feeling, or that which is called perception, or that which is called formations, or that which is called consciousness, up to, as before, even that which is called Nirvana, know that it is merely an imputation, and not a self-nature, and that apart from it, or separate from it, there is no true object of action or object of speech. Thus, the self-nature of all dharmas will not exist as it is spoken, nor will it be completely non-existent. It is not that way existent, nor is it completely non-existent. How does it exist then? It does not exist by its own characteristic, but exists by abandoning the poorly grasped that is falsely added, and abandoning the poorly grasped that is slandering the truth. Know that the ultimate self-nature of all dharmas is not the object of non-conceptual wisdom alone. If for which dharmas and which things how

If, as stated, those dharmas and things become their own nature, then it is likely that the self-nature of one dharma and one thing will become many and varied. Why is that? Because, for one dharma and one thing, many people state and apply in many and varied ways, and closely apply. Since there are many kinds of applying words, if any applying word becomes the self-nature and the self-nature of the own nature of that dharma and that thing, and the remaining applying words are not, there is no certainty. Therefore, it is impossible for all applying words, or some, to become the self-nature of all dharmas and all things, and it is also impossible to become the self-nature of their own nature. Furthermore, if the dharmas such as form, etc., mentioned earlier, are the self-nature of applying words, then, if the thing arises first, and later the applying word is applied to it with joy, before the applying word closely applies, when the applying word has not closely applied, that dharma and that thing will only become without self-nature. Even if it becomes without self-nature, for a non-existent thing, it is not possible to closely apply with applying words. Even if there is no close application of applying words, dharmas and things cannot exist in self-nature through applying words. If, before the close application of applying words, that form is the self-nature of form, and later the form contained in the word applied to the self-nature of form is closely applied, then, even without the close application of the applying word 'form,' it will become the dharma of form and the thing of form, and the wisdom of form will enter, but in reality it will not enter. Therefore, it should be understood through this reason and this logic that all dharmas are of an inexpressible self-nature. Just like form, from feeling, etc., up to even nirvana, it is the same for the dharmas mentioned earlier.
