It should be known that this is the reality of the sphere of activity of the earth. What is it? All dharmas originate from the inexpressible nature, and the wisdom of the Bodhisattvas and the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, enters into the selfless dharma, and after entering, it is extremely pure. The nature of the imputed words is non-conceptual, and because it is the same, whatever can be done as the object of the sphere of activity is the supreme and unsurpassed Suchness, the ultimate of what is to be known. From that, the complete and accurate discernment of all dharmas will be accomplished, and it will not change. It should also be known that such a nature of Suchness is also completely distinguished by non-duality through establishment. What is called two is existence and non-existence. Among them, existence is whatever is established as the nature of the imputed words, just like that, it has been clung to by the world for a long time, and it is the root of the world's discriminations and all elaborations, such as form, or feeling, or perception, or formation, or consciousness, or eye, or ear, or nose, or tongue, or body, or mind, or earth, or water, or fire, or wind, or form, or sound, or smell, or taste, or touch, or good, or non-good, or neutral, or birth, or destruction, or dependent origination, or past, or future, or present, or conditioned, or unconditioned, or this world and the other world, or these two sun and moon, and whatever is seen, heard, distinguished, and known, and whatever is obtained, sought, mentally recollected, and investigated, even up to Nirvana. Like this, things that conform to the nature of the fame of the imputed words are called worldly existence. Among them, non-existence is from the imputed word called form, even up to Nirvana.

The term 'being empty' is used as a connecting word, but it is itself devoid of substance and characteristics. Upon what does the connecting word rely to be applied? The basis of the connecting word, in all respects, is neither existent nor non-existent; this is what is called 'being without substance.' That which was the previous substance, and this 'being without substance,' the substance that is encompassed by the nature of dharma, which is liberated from existence and non-existence, is non-duality. That which is non-duality is the Middle Way, abandoning the two extremes, and is called unsurpassed. Only then can one understand that the wisdom of the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, is utterly pure. The knowledge of Bodhisattvas should be understood as being thoroughly distinguished by the path of learning. This wisdom is also the great method for Bodhisattvas to attain the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. Why is that? Because Bodhisattvas have faith in emptiness, and therefore, in each and every rebirth, they revolve in samsara in order to fully ripen sentient beings and their own Buddha-dharmas. They thoroughly understand samsara as it truly is, and they do not become disheartened by the aspects of impermanence and so forth within samsara. If one does not thoroughly understand samsara as it truly is, then one will not be able to maintain a particularly equanimous mind towards all afflictions such as attachment, hatred, and ignorance. If one does not maintain particular equanimity, then the mind becomes afflicted and revolves in samsara. With an afflicted mind revolving in samsara, one cannot fully ripen the Buddha-dharmas and sentient beings. If one becomes disheartened by samsara due to the aspects of impermanence and so forth, then the Bodhisattva will quickly pass into complete nirvana. If the Bodhisattva quickly passes into complete nirvana, then they will also be unable to fully ripen the Buddha-dharmas and sentient beings, and will not attain unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment.
