It should be regarded as a method of pacification. To truly proclaim the lion's roar within the assembly is like all bad doctors abandoning their vows, and it should be regarded as vowing to completely pacify the disease oneself. Those actions that have been done, accumulated, and ceased are called the past. Those that have neither been done nor ceased, although not done, but will be done later, are called the future. Those that have neither been done nor ceased, but are only thought about and strived for, those are called the present. Those are also divided from the perspective of classification into three: the actions of the body, the actions of speech, and the actions of mind, as well as truly upholding the Dharma and as previously shown, truly upholding the Dharma is pleasant now and matures into suffering in the future, and so on, extensively explained. Those should also be understood according to circumstances from the combination of benefit and harm in this life and the next. Where it is done is called the place of those. Relying on whatever is counted as sentient beings or not counted as sentient beings to do, that is called the object of those. Doing with any one of the roots of non-virtue or the roots of virtue, that is called the cause of those. The fruit with loveliness and unloveliness, faults and benefits, the manifestation of the accomplishment of the fruit, that is called the maturation of those. Therefore, those are summarized, combined in all times, all aspects, all situations, as well as all realms, all places, all bases, for all faults and benefits, the Tathagatas possess all aspects of knowing actions, there is nothing higher than that, and there is nothing more excellent than that. By means of the four dhyanas, the eight liberations, and the dhyanas and liberations, making the mind

Having entered, how does one abide in samadhi, so that the entire Brahma world is pervaded by great light? One also hears the words spoken by him, but no one sees him, as is extensively described. Thus, whether the Tathagata is common or uncommon with the world, and what kind of meaning he wishes to accomplish, by entering into such a samadhi, he will quickly and swiftly achieve it. Here, by gaining mastery over the mind through meditation and liberation, accomplishing all desired meanings is the function of the mind. The activity of meditators is limited to this alone; there is nothing higher than this, nothing more excellent than this. All the activities of meditators are possessed by the Tathagatas, therefore it is only said to be the entering into meditation, liberation, and samadhi. These meditations and so on, in brief, have two kinds of pervasive defilements. When they are not obtained, the pervasive defilements that create obstacles to obtaining them are as follows: engaging in practice without skillful means, and engaging in any kind of obscuration. For those who have already obtained them, there are also defilements of their own nature that pervasively bind them, or there are latent tendencies. Purification, on the other hand, should be understood as only two kinds from the opposite of that. Manifestly accomplishing various meditations and so on, those are called appropriately applying the mind in accordance with names and terms. Having obtained meditation and so on, becoming complete through further cultivation, and obtaining as desired, and obtaining without evil meaning, and obtaining without difficulty, that is their purification. Among them, how they are not obtained, how they are obtained, how they are lost after being obtained, how they are excellent, what their names are, and what is the ultimate limit, all these are known. Therefore, that is called the unsurpassed knowledge of the Tathagata's meditation, liberation, and entering into samadhi. How to fully ripen and perfectly accomplish, from the correct accomplishment, the small, medium, and large of the five faculties such as faith

These are called "superior" and "non-superior," meaning that believing others comes first, and practicing the Dharma comes first. Small, medium, and large desires and realizations are called various inclinations. Abiding in various castes, such as the Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Tathagata castes, and engaging in desire, etc., the eighty thousand aspects of sentient beings' conduct, through the method of excellent differentiation, are called various realms. The path that matches the entrance gate of these, for example, for those who engage in desire, contemplating impurity, etc., is explained extensively as follows: combining it as it appears in the Shravaka Bhumi is called the path that goes everywhere. Another category: all paths that go to the five destinies are called going everywhere. Another category: also, relying on various directions that are mutually contradictory, views and desires contradict each other, speaking various different languages, from these externalist ascetics and Brahmins, whichever path is completely without fault in this life and the next, that is called going everywhere, as it appears in the Kalavicchikputra Sutra and others. Various kinds of sentient beings, such as the eastern directions, the southern directions, the northern directions, the western directions, names, and various different establishments of terminology, in the past bodies that have passed away, in the sutra that summarizes the various recollections of past abodes, based on the eight bases of terminology, recollect the six conducts. What are the eight bases of terminology? The name is called this, the caste is called this, the lineage is called this, the food is eaten like this, experiencing such happiness and suffering, the difference in lifespan is like this, the time is dwelling for such a long time, the life is able to last this long. What are the six conducts based on the eight bases of terminology? The Tibetan language, the castes such as the royal caste, the actions such as parents and food and drink, prosperity and decline, and the various aspects of life, thus, relying on these eight bases of worldly terminology, we
