What is the complete purification of all aspects? It means that all aspects of the object of observation are completely purified. What is the complete purification of the mind? As mentioned before, the mind is free from all negative states, and all roots of virtue are accumulated in the mind. Therefore, it is said that all aspects of the mind are completely purified. What is the complete purification of wisdom? As mentioned before, it is free from all negative states associated with ignorance, and there is no obscuration of wisdom regarding all objects of knowledge. Being able to freely wield wisdom is what is meant by the complete purification of all aspects of wisdom. What are the ten powers of the Tathagata? They are the power of knowing what is possible and impossible, the power of knowing the maturation of actions, the power of knowing meditative absorption, liberation, samadhi, and attainment, the power of knowing the superiority and inferiority of faculties, the power of knowing various aspirations, the power of knowing various realms, the power of knowing the path leading to all destinations, the power of knowing the recollection of past lives, the power of knowing death and birth, and the power of knowing the exhaustion of defilements. These ten powers should be understood as explained in detail in the Sutra on the Ten Powers. Whatever the Tathagata indicates, speaks, and proclaims is all true and not inverted; therefore, he is called the Tathagata. When the cause of a wholesome or unwholesome result arises, whatever is not contradictory to it is its place, basis, support, and the means of its manifestation. Conversely, a cause that is not in accordance with it is not the place of a wholesome or unwholesome result. Wisdom without conceit is knowing things as they truly are, that is, omniscience, unattached wisdom, and purity. This should be understood as wisdom without conceit. These terms, such as omniscience, should be understood as explained in the chapter on Bodhi, as mentioned before. The first is the first in the order of enumeration. Because it is unsurpassed and capable of accomplishing all the purposes of all sentient beings.

It is called "Power" because of (subduing), and because of permanently suppressing the power of all demons. It is called "Possessing" because of completely grasping the cause of truly accomplishing as it is, and because of having the power to truly act as desired. Nirvana is unsurpassed, therefore it is called "Great." It is called "Supreme" because of obtaining the eightfold noble path, and because of being free from all harm and fear. It is called "Vow" because one promises to realize it oneself. It is called "Turning the Wheel of Brahma" because after realizing it oneself, one extensively teaches it with compassion for others. Why is that? Because, the so-called "Brahma," the so-called "Peace," the so-called "Coolness," these are the sublime words of the Tathagata. Therefore, it was first turned by him. After Brahma turned it, other non-Brahmans also transmitted it from him to others. Thus, it is transmitted from one to another, circulating in all realms of sentient beings, therefore it is called "Wheel of Brahma." It is called the Lion's Roar in the assembly because of completely belonging to the supreme, and because of proclaiming oneself as encompassing the unsurpassed qualities of the perfect teacher, and because by showing that path, one also abandons all the extraordinary things that are not of this path, and because one has no fear of those who come speaking contrary to this path, and because of suppressing the opponents, thus proclaiming vast and unsurpassed words. In short, it clearly explains, analyzes, examines, and shows the perfect practice that benefits oneself, and the perfect practice that benefits oneself and others, these are unparalleled. There are also other ways to attain the path of meaning, and the method to attain it, and that method is beneficial to all beings, whether they are gods or humans, whoever they may be, through that method they can obtain all their desires from me, thus it is declared. Therefore, the supreme and great place should be regarded as if the disease is completely pacified. Turning the Wheel of Brahma is like the disease completely
