After thoroughly searching for all dharmas with four kinds of thorough search, when thoroughly knowing with four kinds of knowing as it is, when all manifest attachments to wrong discriminations are eliminated, in this life, it is also seen to be consistent with the non-arising of all afflictions of all dharmas, and in future lives, it is seen that the real dharmas arising from the cause of manifest attachment to previous wrong discriminations, those dharmas themselves, in their entirety, do not arise at all. Those four kinds of thorough search, and the four kinds of knowing as it is, are as previously stated in the chapter on Thatness, those from dwelling in the conduct of faith up to dwelling in the signless with effort are not extremely pure. Dwelling in this is completely pure, therefore, that Bodhisattva is called having obtained the forbearance of non-arising dharma. Having obtained that forbearance, the Bodhisattva obtains profound dwelling, and also abandons the four faults of the previous dwelling in the signless, also abandons the manifest intention of effort, also abandons being weary of dwelling above purity, also abandons being weary of being able to benefit sentient beings in all circumstances, and also abandons the arising of subtle thoughts, therefore, that dwelling is called extremely completely pure. In that profound dwelling, there is manifest joy, in that continuum of the Dharma gate, the Tathagata encourages, and also causes it to be truly held, and the gate of manifest accomplishment, and wisdom, and the activity of manifest knowledge are immeasurable, that is closely accomplished, thus encouraged, then the knowledge of the various distinctions of the body is manifestly accomplished immeasurably, and the ten powers will also be obtained, understand as it appears in the Sutra itself. One who has obtained power will abide as long as he desires. Whatever dwelling of the mind, such as meditation and liberation, one wishes to abide in, that one abides in. In the moment of mere thought, all the necessities such as food are accomplished. Work
