Beginning with the realm of dependence, and also beginning with the body, speech, and mind wisdom of the Tathagata, therefore, this should be understood as the sutra of meaning governed by the differences of other paths created by practicing with skillful means and wisdom. Because of possessing these, one will be able to comprehend the immeasurable and countless realms of the Tathagata. In order to truly generate, spontaneously accomplished and without characteristics, without conception and without non-conception, seeing that one can truly generate the immeasurable realm of the Buddha, one will connect without interruption and without hindrance. All conduct, behavior, dwelling, and attention, and in all times and places, remaining in this path will not be separated. That is, in each moment of thought, all the dharmas that are in accordance with the aspects of enlightenment, such as the ten perfections, will be completely fulfilled and particularly excellent. For others, it is not like that. First, for those who dwell in the utterly joyous, one particularly focuses on aspirations; second, one removes the defilements of the mind's immoral discipline; third, aspirations increase and one obtains the appearance of the Dharma; fourth, one enters sleep; fifth, one enters worldly affairs; sixth, one enters the profound. And in this seventh dwelling, because all the Buddha's dharmas are truly generated, the aspects of enlightenment will be completely fulfilled. This dwelling is encompassed by the complete conduct arising from the practice of the Bodhisattva, and it is entering the eighth dwelling of wisdom, clairvoyance, and completely pure conduct. Thus, the Bodhisattva enters the eighth dwelling at the end of this dwelling, and that dwelling must be completely pure. These seven dwellings are guides, because they precede the pure dwelling, therefore they are not entirely afflicted, and because they have not attained it, they are said to belong to completely afflicted conduct. In those dwellings, one will abandon all afflictions such as attachment to it, that is, afflict

It should be understood as neither having afflictions nor being without afflictions, because it is not universally practiced and because it desires the wisdom of the Buddha. If it transforms in this way, then the superior intention is completely purified, and the actions of body, speech, and mind enter infinitely. Those that are not praised by the Tathagatas are as before. In its fifth dwelling place, the manifestation of worldly craftsmanship will be completely perfected here. The bodhisattvas dwelling above in the great trichiliocosm, and except for the Tathagatas, will be revered as teachers. There is nothing equal to the superior intention and conduct. Meditations and other dharmas that are in accordance with the aspects of enlightenment will manifest through the manner of cultivation, but it is not dwelling through maturation as in the eighth dwelling place. One who has entered in this way, the bodhisattva, will manifest the distinguishing samadhi of the bodhisattva, extremely distinguishing samadhi, and so on, a hundred thousand samadhis. Having obtained these, one will completely transcend the realm of the samadhi of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. Therefore, the actions of body, speech, and mind are isolated from all afflictions, difficult to understand, and free from all conceptual activities. One dwells observing sentient beings, and in order to perfect enlightenment, one does not abandon the effort to seek further distinctions. His actions of body, speech, and mind, free from all characteristics, extremely completely subdued, the tolerance of non-arising dharma will appear, and immeasurable things will arise. Because this dwelling place is the object of one's own wisdom, it is completely beyond all the realms of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, and the six that are not, are because of particularly focusing on the Buddha's Dharma. In the sixth dwelling place, the bodhisattva enters into cessation. Here, one enters into samadhi in each moment. One abides at the true limit. Not manifesting cessation, this is his extremely rare and inconceivable Dharma. He manifests skillful means and wisdom.
