Thus, therefore, he has no fear of evil destinies. If in all the world I have not seen anyone whose thoughts are the same and equal to mine, then how can there be one who is superior? Therefore, I have no fear of shame in the assembly. Thus, he is free from all fears, and from the fear of all profound proclaimers, and free from being filled with the pride of hearing, and free from hatred towards all harm and false doctrines of others, and free from all the joys of worldly bustle, and because he is not afflicted, he has no decline, and because he is extremely subdued, with the thought of not being an ordinary person, in order to truly accomplish all virtuous dharmas, in this life also, in all aspects, he initiates the diligence of a Bodhisattva. Giving priority to faith, in the future also, relying on the ten great aspirations previously taught in the chapter on the aspects of enlightenment, based on pure intention, in this dwelling of great joy, this can be manifestly accomplished. Eighteenth fascicle. Showing the excellent qualities of sentient beings, the great aspiration to make offerings to the Lord of Dharma, and the second, namely, upholding the true Dharma spoken by him, and the third, namely, causing the true Dharma to arise in order, and the fourth, namely, practicing the conduct of a Bodhisattva in accordance with him, and the fifth, namely, causing the vessel sentient beings to be completely matured, and the sixth, namely, going to the Buddha fields, and seeing the Tathagata, and hearing the true Dharma, and the seventh, namely, causing one's own Buddha field to be completely purified, and the eighth, namely, in all lifetimes, not being separated from the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and causing the Bodhisattvas to be of one mind and action, and the ninth, namely, causing all actions that benefit sentient beings to be fruitful, and the tenth, namely, manifestly attaining unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, and manifestly accomplishing the great aspiration of performing the deeds of a Buddha. Like the realm of sentient beings passing from one to another without ceasing, and the continuous Dharma of the world.

As it is said, until the ultimate attainment of Bodhi, may I obtain this great aspiration in all lifetimes, without forgetting, without separation. Thus, I sincerely pray in my heart. The former is praying for the meaning of what should be prayed for. The latter should be understood as praying for the aspiration itself. Thus, these great aspirations and so on, the aspirations of the true aspirations of that Bodhisattva, will give rise to countless hundreds of thousands. Thus, the latter will also be endowed with aspirations, and in this life, diligence is also initiated, which makes the abiding of great joy completely pure with the ten dharmas of completely purified abiding. Having manifest faith in all the Buddha's teachings, with the principle of dependent origination, compassion that sees the aggregates of suffering of sentient beings as truly accomplished, and loving-kindness that thinks, 'I shall liberate these sentient beings from this aggregate of suffering alone,' and without regard for oneself with the thought of saving all sentient beings from suffering. Not regarding that, therefore, completely giving away internal and external things to sentient beings, and not being weary of completely seeking from other worldly and transmundane dharmas for the benefit of those sentient beings themselves. Because of not being weary, the purity of truly accomplishing the understanding of all treatises by understanding the treatises, and because of understanding the treatises, for the lower, middle, and superior sentient beings, accomplishing as much as possible and as appropriate, therefore understanding the world, and from those practices themselves, starting from the behavior of time and hours, etc., knowing shame and being conscientious, and for those practices themselves, because of non-retrogression, generating the power of endurance, and offering to the Tathagata and serving with gain, respect, and accomplishment. That is, faith, compassion, loving-kindness, giving, not being weary, understanding treatises, understanding the world, knowing shame and being conscientious, generating the power of endurance, and offering to the Tathagata and serving, these ten dharmas.

Those are what make the dwelling completely pure. That Bodhisattva also dwells, having properly taken up that Dharma, and does it repeatedly. Those who are not Bodhisattvas, the dwelling place of the remaining nine, such as morality, completely seek from the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas all aspects of the qualities and faults of the path. Having known that, they also do not let the path be wasted, and they properly hold the signs of the form, attainment, and conformity, and they themselves also suppress all dwelling places, and they will easily attain great Bodhi. They also liberate many sentient beings from the path of the wilderness of samsara. Those by which aspects they enter are pure aspects. That which is entering is attainment. Having entered, one should also know that accomplishing the benefit of great fruit is conformity. By two causes of dwelling in that dwelling, many Buddhas will appear to be seen, and whatever he has heard from the Bodhisattva's treasury, and in the various names of the realms of the ten directions, he desires to see with a mind endowed with great faith those who believe that the Tathagatas dwell in various names, and for one who has become like that, his desire will only be accomplished, this is one cause. Wherever a Buddha appears, may I be born there, he also prays in his mind in that way, and for one who has become like that, his prayer will only be accomplished, and having seen those Tathagatas with such great faith and with the power of prayer, he makes offerings and accomplishes all forms of the equipment of happiness. He also respects the Sangha as much as he can. He also hears the Dharma from those Tathagatas, and receives and holds it. He also diligently practices the Dharma that conforms to the Dharma. He also completely dedicates all those roots of virtue to great Bodhi. He also completely ripens sentient beings with the four objects of collection. He also completely upholds the offerings to the Tathagata, the Sangha, and the Dharma.
