are the kinds that become the cause of birth. In that case, the birth of formation and the birth of birth become two. Among them, does the birth of the birth of formation become something other than that, or does it become something else? If it is not something else, then in that case, it becomes meaningless for birth to exist as a substance, and it cannot be said that another birth exists as a substance. If it is something else, then in that case, the birth of formation does not become birth, and the birth of formation cannot be called birth. Just as birth exists, aging and destruction should also be understood in detail in the same way. If the dharma called destruction has self-nature established, then it will also be born or cease. When destruction arises, all formations will cease, and in that case, just like entering into cessation meditation, the mind and mental factors born in the Lesser Vehicle will not arise. If that destruction ceases, then those formations that have already ceased will also arise again, because they do not have destruction. Therefore, destruction cannot be said to be birth, nor can it be said to be cessation. A son of the lineage or a daughter of the lineage, if they think that something that exists substantially exists at all times, and also see the imputed existence as self-nature established, then renunciation, detachment, and liberation are also impossible. The opposite of that is possible, and in that way, through those methods, the Bodhisattva truly knows that all formations are impermanent. Moreover, the Bodhisattva also acts in that way through the continuum of formations, and truly knows that those impermanent things are the three kinds of suffering, namely the suffering of formation, the suffering of change, and the suffering of suffering, as the place of things. In that way, the Bodhisattva truly knows that all formations are suffering. Moreover, the Bodhisattva also truly knows that all dharmas of formation and non-formation are without self, divided into two types, namely the selflessness of persons and the selflessness of dharmas. That

The selflessness of the person is this: these existing dharmas are not the person, and there is no other person apart from the existing dharmas. The selflessness of dharmas is this: for all objects that can be spoken of, there are no dharmas of the nature of what can be spoken of. Thus, the Bodhisattva fully understands that all dharmas are selfless as they truly are. Furthermore, these formations, whose cause has been completely cut off in the past and later completely ceased, so that other things will never manifest and will not arise, this is called Nirvana. Moreover, because afflictions and near afflictions are pacified, and suffering is also pacified, Nirvana should be known as peaceful. The impure superior intention of the Bodhisattva, or the Hearer's vehicle not seeing the truth, will temporarily incline towards Nirvana, and will also say "Nirvana is peaceful." However, they do not truly realize Nirvana, or enter into seeing wisdom as it truly is. Proper attention exists, for example, whether it is the son of a king or the son of a householder, born and raised in the house of a king or a householder, when he is a young child, the king or householder will give him artificial deer carts, horse carts, or elephant carts, and the king's son or the householder's son will also play with these carts, feel happy, enjoy all kinds of pleasures, and generate the perception of deer for the artificial deer, and generate the perception of elephants for the artificial cows, horses, and elephants. Then, after a while, the king or householder sees that his son has grown up and his faculties are fully mature, he will praise the real deer, and praise the real elephant, up to the real elephant. The king's son or the householder's son, hearing these praises, will think: the king or householder praises these for me, from the deer cart to the elephant cart.

Thinking, he spoke these words. Then at another time, the king or householder took my son outside the house and showed him a real deer, and even a real elephant. After he saw those, at that time, he himself generated correct awareness as it is. Thinking, 'Look, my father has long praised the deer cart, and even the great elephant cart, the true meaning of those is these. I, for the meaning that is not true, only that fabricated image, merely the appearance, I have accepted it.' The previous acceptance will be ashamed. Similarly, bodhisattvas born from the house of samsara with impure minds, and shravakas who have not seen the truth, like children, the Buddhas who are like fathers, and the bodhisattvas who have entered the great earth (the first bhumi), those who directly see nirvana, to the bodhisattvas and shravakas, with the praise of nirvana as they see it, and those also follow nirvana with the voice of merit, and have long accepted it. When the assembly of those is completely mature and growing, bodhisattvas with pure minds, and shravakas who have seen the truth, will generate direct wisdom about nirvana. At that time, the correct awareness of each of those will also arise as it is. Look, what the Buddhas and bodhisattvas praise, this is the nirvana of all shravakas and pratyekabuddhas, I did not accept it as it is with the wisdom of a child before, there is also that fabricated one, and there is also only the appearance. Relying on the later true acceptance, the previous acceptance will be ashamed. For example, for some people afflicted with illness, some great doctors, in order to pacify the illness they have, serve them with medicines that are compatible with it, and the sick person takes those medicines for a long time, to those...
