lives by the path. Whoever has entered wrongly is one who destroys the path. The one called "Sugata" is the one who has completely exhausted all desire, hatred, and ignorance. The one called "preacher of the Dharma" is the one who teaches the Dharma in order to subdue desire, hatred, and ignorance. The one called "well-entered" is the one who has entered in order to subdue desire, hatred, and ignorance. The one called "wrongly entered" is the one who is immoral and has sinful qualities. Furthermore, the learner and the non-learner are called the victorious path because they have completely overcome the afflictions to be abandoned by seeing and meditating. Among them, the Tathagata and the Bodhisattva later enter for the sake of enlightenment, and the Shravakas who hold the Sutras, the Vinaya holders, and the Matrika holders, and those who hold the Dharma of designation, the Dharma of subduing, and the Vinaya, and who enter into the principles of the Dharma, are called pathfinders. Among them, ordinary beings enter for the sake of their own benefit, possessing shame and regret, desiring to learn, in order to obtain what has not been obtained, to realize what has not been realized, and to manifest what has not been manifested, diligently striving until manifestation, and those who have the capacity and power are called living by the path. Because they have warmth, they generate the power of noble wisdom, not dying but living, therefore they are called living by the path. Among them, whoever is immoral, has sinful qualities, and claims to be practicing celibacy when they are not, is called a destroyer of the path. Because they have destroyed the four paths from the beginning, they cannot generate the path or show the path, and they cannot realize it, and they have no capacity or power, and they are not vessels, therefore they are called destroyers of the path. The Bhagavan also understood this and said, "In this there are also the first and fourth fruits of the ascetic, but for the opponents, it is empty of ascetics and Brahmins."

Moreover, having the Noble Eightfold Path, there is also the beginning of a renunciate, and also, there are (stages) between the fourth fruit. Thus it is said. Moreover, there are three types of Brahmins: namely, Brahmin by lineage, Brahmin by name, and Brahmin by practice. Among them, Brahmin by lineage refers to one born into a Brahmin family, born from the womb, born of a mother, and possessing parents. Among them, Brahmin by name refers to the term, concept, and designation of being called a Brahmin in the world. Among them, Brahmin by practice refers to one who has reached the ultimate state and has accomplished something, that is, one who has eliminated all sins and unwholesome dharmas. As it is said: Because of wanting to be a Brahmin who has accomplished something, a Brahmin has nothing (else) to do. It is like this saying. Moreover, there are also three types of pure conduct: namely, abandoning and properly taking up, abandoning without interruption, and completely abandoning. Among them, abandoning and properly taking up refers to abandoning impure conduct, sexual activity, and properly taking up the precepts. Among them, abandoning without interruption refers to one who has separated from attachment to desire through the worldly path of ordinary beings. Among them, completely abandoning refers to a Non-Returner or an Arhat. Moreover, there are five types of monks: namely, a monk for the sake of begging, a monk who claims to be, a nominal monk, a monk for the sake of subduing afflictions, and a monk who has taken full ordination through the request and the four karmas. Moreover, there are three types of diligent protectors: namely, for the sake of properly protecting against breaking vows, diligent protectors are those who abandon the non-virtuous deeds of body and speech. For the sake of properly protecting the environment, diligent protectors are those who guard the doors of the senses, guard mindfulness in all ways, and constantly strive in mindfulness, and so on, as previously explained in detail. For the sake of properly protecting against afflictions, diligent protectors are those who abandon the afflictions to be abandoned by seeing and by cultivating, that is, the discrimination of desire and hatred.

All arising discriminations and harmful discriminations, as well as greed, harmful intent, wrong views, anger, resentment, concealment, annoyance, and so on, that are in accordance with the evil realms, causing sentient beings to fall into hell, tending towards evil destinies, and not engaging in virtuous conduct, are not accepted, let them pass, eliminate them, purify them. The correct protection from daytime afflictions is also of two types: the correct protection of complete entanglement and the correct protection of latency. Among these, complete purification is of two types: possessing the well-spoken Dharma-vinaya and possessing the ill-spoken Dharma-vinaya. Among these, possessing the well-spoken Dharma-vinaya refers to: bhikshus, bhikshunis, shramaneris, shramanas, and shramanerikas. Furthermore, one who completely purifies oneself from sinful, unwholesome dharmas is truly ordained in the ultimate sense. Among these, possessing the ill-spoken Dharma-vinaya refers to: for example, the ordained of other sects, the naked ones, the wandering ones, the ash-covered ones, the great ascetics, and others who are similar to them. Therefore, the names shramana, brahmana, brahmacharin, bhikshu, diligent in vows, and ordained indicate different types of individuals. Among these, the reason for establishing eight types of individuals is the establishment of four types of individuals, which are: capable ones, incapable ones, skillful in means, unskillful in means, constant practitioners, inconstant practitioners, fully trained ones, and not fully trained ones. Among these, the establishment of four types of individuals is the reason for establishing those eight types of individuals, with four types of distinctions serving as the cause. For example, the distinction of faculties is mature faculties and immature faculties. The distinction of yoga is understanding yoga and not understanding yoga. The distinction of effort is constantly doing, not constantly doing, respectfully doing, and disrespectfully doing.
