I completely cease suffering from samsara, which is called having seven existences if counted as a person. What is a person who is born from one class to another? It is said that there are two types of birth from one class to another: birth from the class of gods to another, and birth from the class of humans to another. Among these, birth from the class of gods to another refers to those who connect continuously between the classes of gods and completely cease the suffering of samsara. Among these, birth from the class of humans to another refers to those who connect continuously between the classes of humans and completely cease the suffering of samsara. Both of these should be understood as stream-enterers. What is a person with one interruption? It is said that it refers to a once-returner who has entered for the fruit of non-return, who has abandoned the great and intermediate afflictions from the afflictions practiced in the desire realm, and who, with only small remaining afflictions, is born once in the heavenly realms practiced in the desire realm, and who completely attains nirvana there, and who does not return to this world once, this is called a person with one interruption. What is a person who attains complete nirvana without an intermediate state? It is said that there are three types of people who attain complete nirvana without an intermediate state. Among these, one type of person who attains complete nirvana without an intermediate state is one who, immediately after death and transference, when the intermediate state has not yet manifested, causes existence to manifest without an intermediate state, and attains complete nirvana at the same time as the manifestation is established, just as a spark from a wick dies out as soon as it appears. The second type of person who attains complete nirvana without an intermediate state is one who causes the existence of the intermediate state to manifest, and who, after the existence of the intermediate state is established, remains there for a while and attains complete nirvana, no longer inclining towards the existence of birth, just as when a piece of iron or an iron plate is burned very hot and struck with iron hammers, the sparks of iron fly up into the sky and die out. The third type of person who attains complete nirvana without an intermediate state is one who causes the existence of the intermediate state to manifest, and after it has manifested,

Furthermore, one engages in whatever existence of birth there is, and having engaged, one completely passes into sorrow only in the unborn. For example, like a hot piece of iron returning from the sky and falling to the ground, it dies. The combination of the three who completely pass into sorrow in the intermediate state is called the person who completely passes into sorrow in the intermediate state. What is the person who, having been born, completely passes into sorrow? Answer: Whoever immediately passes into sorrow upon being born, that is called the person who, having been born, completely passes into sorrow. What is the person who passes into sorrow without manifestation? Answer: Whoever manifests the path through non-manifestation, non-attachment, and non-labor, and having been born there, completely passes into sorrow, that is called the person who passes into sorrow without manifestation. What is the person who passes into sorrow with manifestation? Answer: Whoever manifests the path through manifestation, effort, and labor, and having been born there, completely passes into sorrow, that is called the person who passes into sorrow without manifestation. What is the person who moves upwards? Answer: The non-returner who is born in the first dhyana does not immediately pass into sorrow there, so having died and transferred, from above to above, he goes to the gods up to Akanistha, or whoever accomplishes the place of birth between the realm of nothingness and the realm of neither perception nor non-perception, that is called the person who moves upwards. What is the person who is liberated by time? Answer: A person with dull faculties who dwells happily in this world, completely degenerates, remembers death, and protects liberation. For example, if he does not completely degenerate, then he strives to follow a very cautious conduct, and until he strives very diligently, he only performs those virtuous deeds, but he should make them extremely excellent.
