That which arises from generosity should be understood from its basis, arising, nature, and location. Its basis is the basis of non-attachment, non-hatred, and non-ignorance. The arising is the mind that initiates the actions of body and speech for the sake of completely giving away the object to be given, which is endowed with non-attachment, non-hatred, and non-ignorance. The nature is the action of body and the action of speech initiated by completely giving away the object to be given. The location is the object to be given and the recipient. Just as that which arises from generosity, so too should that which arises from ethics and that which arises from meditation be understood appropriately. The basis and arising of that which arises from ethics are the same. The nature is the action of body and the action of speech gathered by vows. The location is the object that indicates sentient beings and non-sentient beings. The basis of that which arises from meditation is the basis of samadhi, which is non-attachment, non-hatred, and non-ignorance. The arising is the mind that accomplishes the samadhi that is associated with it. The nature is samadhi. The location is the realm of sentient beings in the ten directions, which is neither suffering nor happiness. The signs of the patron, the signs of the ethical, and the signs of the meditator should all be understood as before. The action of merit is that which ripens into a good destination and whatever virtue will be experienced in the five realms. The action of non-merit is that which ripens into a bad destination and whatever non-virtue will be experienced in the five realms. The unwavering action is form and

What is black karma? It refers to non-meritorious karma. White karma, which ripens as white, refers to unwavering karma. Black and white karma, which ripens as black and white, refers to meritorious karma that is the antidote to non-virtue, that is, not abandoning non-merit, but establishing it as meritorious karma. Neither black nor white karma, also without ripening, the karma of exhausting karma, refers to the antidote that abandons all three karmas, which is the uncontaminated karma that transcends the world. Round karma refers to the virtue and non-virtue of the non-Buddhist heretics outside of this. Sinful karma refers to round karma, that is, round karma is also sinful karma. Furthermore, sinful karma refers to the virtuous and non-virtuous karma of those who are ordinary individuals of this religion who have inverted views on the teachings, abide in holding their own views as supreme, and are certain of wrong views. Defiled karma refers to round karma and sinful karma, that is, round karma and sinful karma are also defiled karma. Furthermore, defiled karma refers to the virtuous and non-virtuous karma of those ordinary individuals of this religion who are uncertain about the teachings and possess a mind of doubt. Another classification is that the three of the non-Buddhist heretics are round karma because they are established for the sake of falsehood. Because it becomes an obstacle to the manifestation of the qualities that depend on it, it is sinful karma. Similarly, because it becomes an obstacle to what is relied upon, it should be known as defiled karma. Among them, pure karma refers to the virtuous karma of those ordinary individuals of this religion who are correctly certain about the teachings and possess a mind without doubt. Superior karma refers to the virtuous dharma of those who are not ordinary individuals of this religion, but rather the noble ones who are learners and non-learners. What are the faults of karmas? In short, it should be known that there are seven types of faults, that is, the one who kills, because of the basis of killing, thinks of harming himself, harming others, and harming both, generating faults in this life, and generating faults in the next life.
