All the goddesses of the heavenly realms do not have a place in the womb. Those of the Four Great Kings caste are born miraculously from the shoulders or laps of their parents, like children who are five years old. Those of the Thirty-three are like six-year-olds. Those of the Strife-free are like seven-year-olds. Those of the Joyful are like eight-year-olds. Those of the Enjoying Emanation are like nine-year-olds. Those of the Controlling Others' Emanations are born miraculously on the shoulders or laps like children who are ten years old. Thus, the classification of birth is as follows: For example, these three types of desire realm births, some sentient beings abide closely in desire, and those who abide closely in desire also have power over the powerful ones. Who are they? For example, all humans, and starting from the gods of the Four Great Kings caste up to the Joyful, that is the first desire realm birth. Some sentient beings emanate desire and those who emanate desire emanate and also have power over the powerful ones, who are they? For example, the gods of the Enjoying Emanation. Those gods of the Enjoying Emanation accomplish the emanation of desire for their own sake, but not for others. Therefore, those who have power over the powerful ones only through their own emanation of desire, that is the second desire realm birth. Some sentient beings have desire emanated by others, and those who have desire emanated by others also have power over the powerful ones, for example, the gods of the Controlling Others' Emanations. Like this, those gods accomplish emanation for themselves and for others, therefore, those who, for their own emanation, because they abide in a place smaller than the heart, have power over the powerful ones through the desire emanated by others, therefore, those are called Controlling Others' Emanations, those who do not rely solely on the desire emanated by others, but also rely on their own emanation, that is the third desire realm birth. The birth of bliss has these three forms, some sentient beings are moistened in body by the joy and bliss born from solitude, this

For example, the gods of the first dhyana realm. That is the first arising of pleasure. There are beings whose bodies are moistened by the joy and pleasure born from samadhi, such as the gods of the second dhyana realm, that is the second arising of pleasure. There are also beings whose bodies are moistened by pleasure without joy, such as the gods of the third dhyana realm, that is the third arising of pleasure. Why are the arising of desire divided into three, and the arising of pleasure divided into three? It is said that these three are seeking, namely seeking desire, seeking existence, and seeking brahmacarya. Among them, any śramaṇa or brahmin who enters into seeking desire, all of them are for the sake of these three arisings of desire, no more and no less. Any śramaṇa or brahmin who seeks existence for the sake of pleasure, all of them, mostly because they desire pleasure, are for the sake of the three kinds of arising of pleasure. Those who enter into seeking for the sake of the peaceful arising that is neither suffering nor pleasure are even fewer than the few in the world. Therefore, arising is not distinguished before that. Any śramaṇa or brahmin who enters into seeking brahmacarya, all of them are for the sake of the undefiled realm. Some, however, wrongly conceive liberation as ultimate, and enter into seeking wrong brahmacarya for the sake of immovability, for the sake of the sphere of infinite space, and for the sake of the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception, which should be understood as the supreme seeking of brahmacarya. The unsurpassed is for the sake of the undefiled realm. As for the distinction of bodies, for example, in the three realms, there are four ways in which beings obtain bodies: there are bodies that change according to one's own mind, but not according to the mind of others, such as the so-called gods who are intoxicated with play in the desire realm. When they are excessively playful, joyful, and immersed in the adornment of the place, they remain in that way and forget mindfulness. Mindfulness
