If, for the obstacles of entering this Vinaya Pitaka, the afflictions that have deeply entered the mind for a long time and are latent, and the afflictions that produce various sufferings, whatever abandons all these afflictions is called the fruit of the extremely pure path. The five aggregates of the non-learner, which are included in the ten branches of the non-learner, namely the aggregate of discipline, the aggregate of concentration, the aggregate of wisdom, the aggregate of liberation, and the aggregate of the knowledge and vision of liberation, are called the extremely pure path. Having obtained the extremely pure path, one will abide in the position of the noble one, free from the ten faults. What are the ten faults? Relying on external desires, there arise faults of sorrow, lamentation, suffering, displeasure, confusion, and encountering suffering upon suffering; relying on the internal, the fault of not guarding the sense gates; if the sense gates are not guarded, then sorrow and so on will arise; the fault of tasting the flavor of dwelling in comfort; the fault of being negligent in wandering and dwelling; the uncommon things produced by the evil views of the external heretics, that is, not mixing with them, the faults of speech, discrimination, and seeking; and the fault of being at the extreme of the three meditations; the fault of generating the all-pervasive defilement of the grasping aggregate belonging to dependent origination; and the fault of generating the all-pervasive defilement of the aggregate of formation. Thus, if one is free from these ten faults, one will hold the last body, and no other future body will manifest, and one will constantly abide in the extremely peaceful Nirvana, and relying on all sentient beings born from the peak of existence downwards, one will obtain the lordship of all sentient beings. Therefore, it is called abiding in the position of the noble one. Whoever abides in the position of the noble one, free from the ten faults, is called the benefit of the path, that is, what is the fruit, what is the extremely pure path, what is the benefit, all these are one.

In short, obtaining the path of complete purity, together with its fruit and benefits, is called (complete purity). The extensive explanation of the meaning of the path of complete purity, together with its fruit and benefits, is as follows: It should be understood exactly as it is taught, there is nothing higher than this, and nothing more excellent than this. Thus, the mind of one who has attained the noble Dharma of no more learning, which is in accordance with that noble Dharma, is completely unattached to the five desirable qualities, because that mind has no maturation result, so there is no continuity in the next life. Even if the worldly mind is abandoned, all actions will cease naturally. His path of afflictions, and also the path of karma that leads to rebirth, will be cut off in this very life. Because these are cut off, the path of suffering will also not arise in the next life because the cause and the result have ceased. The end of suffering is not farther than this, not higher than this, and not more excellent than this. Therefore, what is the realization of truth, what is the complete elimination of obstacles, what is the mental engagement with the object of supreme joy that arises quickly after realization, what is the meditation on the path of how to obtain it, and obtaining the path of complete purity, together with its fruit and benefits, this is called the complete purity of all aspects beyond the world. The extensive explanation of the meaning of the complete purity of all aspects beyond the world is as follows: It should be understood in those aspects as taught, there is nothing higher than this, and nothing more excellent than this. Thus, the complete purity of all aspects of the world as previously taught, and the complete purity in all aspects beyond the world, the combination of these two is called the fruit of meditation. Thus, what is the basis of meditation as previously taught, what is the cause of meditation as previously taught, what is the practice of yoga itself as previously taught, and what is the fruit of meditation as previously taught.
