Having seen the fruit of the Tan tree from afar with the divine eye, one thinks, 'Alas! This is the perfectly complete Buddha.' Whatever is held in this way is the same as before. Having seen with the eye of flesh the fruit of the ripening of karma, which is endowed with external desires, whatever is definitely held is also the sound of others, the speech of others, relying on others, and being led by others. Whatever individual ordinary people have not seen so much, that is completely obscured and has only been led by sound for a long time. In order to abandon the desire of the noble ones, and in order to tame and truly transcend, whatever has become the attainment of the eye of wisdom of the noble ones, that is, with the eye of wisdom of the noble ones, the Tathagata is known and focused on as the inner Dharmakaya, and if the outer Rupakaya is seen, or if it has become a stupa, or if a painted image is seen, one thinks, 'Alas! This is not the ultimately perfectly complete Buddha.' Therefore, he thus knows the inner and sees the outer, and in order to have a single definite understanding of the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, he no longer listens to the voices of others, no longer listens to the words of others, does not rely on others, and is not led by others. In this way, in order to fully understand the Dharmakaya of the Tathagata as it is, it will become so. The main point of this explanation is, in short, the Blessed One has shown that there is no definite understanding of the Tathagata arising from signs, and that there is a definite understanding of seeing the Tathagata arising from the ultimate meaning. It should be understood that this is the main point here. Sixth, the lord king: 'If there is attachment, there is attachment. If there is no attachment, there will be no attachment. Attachment is childish.' This is called a verse. Sixth, the lord is the mind, called the consciousness of mind. Among them, some cross the five rivers, but do not cross the sixth, that is, the river of mind, his mind, following the taste of tasting equipoise, is called attachment. Some people have long regarded attachment as their own, and are prone to attachment.

Clinging to objects is called attachment. In this context, desire is attachment, and the suffering of householders arising from desire is also attachment. If an attached person relies on applying antidotes and does not discriminate when attachment arises, causing the mind to retreat and preventing it, then such a mind becomes free from attachment in this very life. Because the mind becomes free from attachment, the attached person in future lives, and the suffering arising from that cause, is called free from attachment. If one discriminates and relies on applying antidotes, but does not cause the mind to retreat or prevent it, then because of the cause of suffering, one experiences suffering for a long time, and not abandoning the cause of that suffering is called a childish person. The essence of this explanation is that, in short, the Blessed One has shown the benefit of eliminating the cause of suffering, and how a childish person brings about their own suffering through the cause of suffering. This should be understood as the essence here. A city with walls of bones, adorned with tendons and flesh, in which desire, anger, and pride are hidden, as well as concealing misdeeds. This is a verse. The city is the mind, the consciousness of the mind. That city is also surrounded by walls of bones like stones, tendons like vines, and flesh like cheeks. It also arises from the well-spoken Dharma and Vinaya, and four things that contradict and oppose virtue exist. For attached householders, these are desire and anger. For those who have gone forth in the wrongly spoken Dharma and Vinaya, these are pride and concealment. Among them, the attached person who is attached to sensual pleasures, and whose behavior is contrary to begging and pride, if they cannot comprehend the well-spoken Dharma and Vinaya, how can they expect to cultivate virtue? The one who is arrogant and full of pride, who has wrongly spoken Dharma, does not go to the Buddha or to the Buddha's disciples, and does not

Or, even if the Shravakas of the Buddha come out of compassion, if they themselves cannot truthfully tell the truth with a foolish mind due to the concealing near-afflictions, how can they comprehend or practice virtue? Like this, if those well-spoken Dharma and Vinaya cannot even enter the two cities of the mind, how can they possess them? The main point of this statement is: In short, the Blessed One showed that the four bases of pervasive affliction would exhaust the well-spoken Dharma and Vinaya of householders and renunciates. This should be understood as the main point here. Just as a tortoise hides its body in its shell, when a Bhikshu hides the thoughts of his mind, being without support and not harming others, he can attain Nirvana and be without any accusation. This is a verse. For example, here, some people rely on the first Dhyana, abandoning the three sinful thoughts, namely desire, malice, and harmful thoughts, and also abandoning the virtuous thoughts of the first Dhyana ground. Thoughts like the body, enter the Samadhi without thought and without examination, like the shell of a tortoise, gathering and entering into it. Know that that Samadhi without thought and without examination, even reaches up to the peak of existence. When he enters and arises from that Samadhi, he does not experience the taste of that Samadhi, but is determined by the Dharma that truly brings joy. Because of its harmless nature, it is pleasant to associate with Brahmacharis and wise people, and Brahmacharis and wise people are also happy to be with him. He also possesses the Dharma of non-contention, therefore, relying on that truthful practice, he can realize the truth and also attain the cessation of defilements. He does not rely on others for the Dharma, and having obtained the extremely pure vision of wisdom, he truly knows that Dharma is Dharma and Vinaya is Vinaya. He is like that.
