Ra 'gyur ro. The gist of this explanation is: In short, the Blessed One taught the importance of proper attention preceded by listening to the sacred Dharma, and the practice of Dharma in accordance with the Dharma preceded by proper attention, and the benefits of the fruits of these three. It should be known that this is the gist here. Like the sky, there is no contamination; like a threshold, it does not waver. The wise do not rejoice in samsara, which is like a sea filled with salty mud. This is called a verse. A Bhikshu Arhat whose mind is completely liberated, who has completely transcended all elaborations, is said to be like the sky. For example, the sky has no elaborations; it is not contaminated by purity, nor is it contaminated by impurity. Similarly, an Arhat who is like the sky is not contaminated by the concordant and discordant dharmas of the world, such as everything from gain or no gain to happiness or suffering. One who desires to learn, who is free from desire, who has entered the state of Arhat, whose mind abides in the four mindfulnesses, who relies entirely on Samadhi with a flawless mind, will not be moved like a door threshold by those who cause agitation, who are conceited, who engage in elaborations, and by all manifest creators, those who are attached, and those who long for birth. The very one who desires to learn and is free from desire, who has developed a longing for higher liberation, that is the fruit of non-return, having become cool. Entering into what is like the ocean, tasting the flavor of equipoise, one does not rejoice in the pervasive practices that correspond to higher levels, which are like mud. Because one does not rejoice in this, one becomes averse to samsara. Furthermore, the Arhat's food, the cause of nomenclature, abiding without characteristics, and being connected with the remaining suffering of the aggregates, these three places should be understood to be combined in order. Furthermore, the Arhat liberated by wisdom, and the learner who realizes it with the body, and the two Arhats.

Liberation from the aspect of quiescence should be understood as being connected to these three places in order. The gist of this explanation is: In brief, the Blessed One, having abandoned the desire for the three realms, attained omniscience and possessed the residue of the aggregates; and having abandoned the desire for the desire realm, he showed the state of non-return by means of the path possessing distinction. Furthermore, the benefits of liberation, the benefits of samadhi, and the benefits of knowledge are shown. Furthermore, the fruits of higher mind and higher wisdom, higher mind, and higher wisdom are shown. These should be understood as the gist here. Those who ascertain by form, follow me by sound, are controlled by the desire for longing, those beings do not know me. The inner is fully aware, but the other shore is not seen, whatever sees the inner fruit, that is led by sound. The inner is not awareness, but the outer is seen, whatever sees the outer fruit, that is also led by sound. The inner is also not awareness, and the outer is also not seen, children are completely obscured, that is also led by sound. The inner is fully aware, and the outer is also seen, knowing the definite arising of the teaching, that is led by sound. These are verses. For example, here, when an ordinary person whose desire for longing has not been completely abandoned sees one endowed with the thirty-two major marks of a great being of the Tathagata, he ascertains, saying, 'Alas! That Blessed One is a perfectly complete Buddha, his Dharma is well-spoken, the Sangha of hearers has entered well.' Later, relying on associating with non-noble individuals and hearing non-Dharma, they speak heresy, and relying on the sound of others, they depend on others and are led by others. Likewise, being led, they also slander the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. For example, because they do not know the true nature of the Tathagata's Dharma body as it is, they will not act in that way. Therefore, an ordinary person's inner thought
