Those obtained from the other shore, such as, from which basis and which object those who have strongly renounced, unpleasantness will arise, that is the desire for past and future things themselves, the rest are the desires of affliction, those if briefly summarized are of two kinds, such as, having renounced with faith and dwelling in solitude, at night from which basis and which object, that fear or dread or goosebumps arise, acting in desire, the attachment of completely contemplating one's own body and life has not been abandoned, or from which basis and which object that thought arises during the day, the attachment of completely contemplating the external form, sound, smell, taste, touch, etc. of that very person has not been abandoned. Any renunciates and brahmins who have declared attachment and hatred, etc. as they are, those who fully understand from what basis they arise, those are those who understand dependent origination and impermanence, men do not accept, abandon, eliminate, and destroy, and having abandoned also are separated from form and formless attachment, separated from the attachment of desire, the ocean of existence and the river of desire, those who have not crossed before will also cross, and those who have crossed will not regress again. This explanation is briefly answered, in short, the Bhagavan in three states, namely the state of being at home, the state of renunciation, and the state of dwelling in solitude, with common and uncommon causes, arising accordingly and anger accomplished, for desires etc. separately scattering the means of abandonment and the benefits of abandonment were declared, that should be known as the brief answer here. Among them, what is attachment, what is joy, what is the thought based on clinging, those should be known as the aspect of attachment. What is hatred, what is unpleasantness, what is fear, that should be known as the aspect of anger. Therefore, not seeking existence, in order to abandon desires, O Brahmin

Because there is no defilement, abandoning is what should be done. In order to achieve the purpose of a Brahmin, there is nothing to be done for a Brahmin. As long as one has not reached the depths and the shore, one must strive with all one's body. Having crossed over, he abides on the plain here. Without effort, he is called having reached the other shore. Whoever has attained the exhaustion of outflows, constant diligence, and meditation, he has abandoned all diseases and sorrows. Whoever is liberated from correct mindfulness and mind, that deva is an example of a Brahmin. This is the content of the verses. That goddess, thinking from the perspective of a conventional Brahmin, those Brahmins who mention lineage and class, thinking that they are Brahmins, those people reach the end of the world of Brahma, abiding because they desire the world of Brahma, initiating diligence, without complete weariness in their minds, those who abide in solitary places, because they have abandoned material desires and the desires of afflictions, therefore they should strive for the meaning of abandonment. Praying to the Bhagavan, saying: Like this, those people reach the end of the world of Brahma, the world of Brahma is not the existence of desire for meaning. The Tathagata, considering the ultimate Brahmin, therefore answered the goddess: Whoever has finished doing, but still needs to do it again and again, needs to do it higher and higher, that is not a Brahmin. Whoever is a Brahmin, because he has realized the meaning of being a Brahmin, has crossed over to the other shore of all worlds, and abides on the plain, that is a Brahmin. In these terms, both the learner and the non-learner are Brahmins. Among them, the learner is also divided into two types: not separated from desire from various desires, and separated from desire. Among them, those who have not separated from desire have not reached the depths, nor have they reached the shore. They also do not possess two states, they have not obtained the inner peace of mind, nor have they obtained the superior wisdom, because they do not have the inner peace of mind, so they are not very pure. Just like having entered the boat of obtaining the path, in order to obtain the inner peace of mind like a foot, they also initiate diligence, so they must strive. The superior wisdom like a hand
