Among me and those Brahmins, some, realizing the faults of desires, completely transcend the desires of this life and the next, desiring the higher state of detachment. They perceive what is not liberation as liberation, abandon desires, and rely on manifestation and extreme solitude. Through persevering in these, practicing them repeatedly, and through proper mindfulness, even if they attain detachment from desire, from the detachment from desire up to the realm of nothingness, they will completely abandon the body below that foundation and unite with a higher body. By uniting with that, they will not be completely liberated from the lower body in the next life, let alone the higher one. Therefore, what they enjoy, and the path of abandoning the body is mistaken, even if they abide in diligence, they will not attain absolute bliss and fearlessness. Why is that? Because their teacher also does not see that state, how can the disciples fully reveal the deity? Thus, in the words of those, including the teacher and disciples, there is only no end to suffering. In contrast to that, in the well-spoken Dharma-Vinaya, it must be recognized that everything exists up to the end of suffering. The Blessed One, understanding that, replied to the goddess: Without realizing wisdom and asceticism, without realizing the suppression of the senses, without realizing the abandonment of all goddesses, there is no seeing of becoming liberated. This is how he answered the goddess. In short, the answer to this exposition is that in the ill-spoken Dharma-Vinaya, the teacher enters wrongly, the mendicants enter wrongly, and in the well-spoken Dharma-Vinaya, the teacher is perfect, the Shravakas are perfect, and there exists the means to bring all suffering to an end. That is the brief answer here. Then, that goddess, pleased with the Blessed One's answer, praised the Buddha Blessed One with four unsurpassed true qualities: difficult to arise, and having arisen, also engaging in benefiting others, accomplishing self-benefit, like this: accomplishing self-benefit and benefiting others.

To that, to that, a mind without contamination. The Brahmin has attained Nirvana, Alas, it has been a long time since I first saw it. This verse shows that it is difficult to appear. Because he has transcended all cycles of existence, he shows the accomplishment of benefiting others. Because he has transcended all fears, he shows the accomplishment of benefiting oneself. Because he has transcended craving, he shows that he possesses a mind without contamination in accomplishing the benefit of self and others. These four categories should be understood to also show the other three categories, namely, because it is difficult to appear, it is difficult to see; because it accomplishes the benefit of self and others, seeing it is of great significance; and because it is of great significance and possesses a mind without contamination, it benefits all beings and is unparalleled. These forms are the supreme praise of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. Who has shown the person of complete lineage, and placed them on the path and in liberation? Where does one abide, and where does one train, that this person will fearlessly transcend this world and the next? Who is virtuous, wise, cultivates oneself, is equipoised, mindful, and walks uprightly, who has abandoned all sorrow and pestilence, is truly mindful, and whose mind is liberated. He has shown the person of complete lineage, and has also placed them on the path and in liberation. Abiding in that, training in that, this person will fearlessly transcend this world and the next. This is a verse, namely, the four castes of Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya, and Shudra, and those who appear complete, who are tamed and trained in accordance with the Dharma, and who are truly shown, that is, showing the person of the four castes. These beings are also tamed and trained by the Bhagavat in accordance with the Dharma, and are truly shown. Therefore, the Bhagavat showed himself to the goddess as a teacher by category, therefore he said: Who is virtuous, wise, cultivates himself. In order to make these four castes definitely liberated from all suffering, the Bhagavat has also shown the Noble Eightfold Path. Here, the Bhagavat also shows himself by category. So, how is it discipline?
