Just like the view, the third is also the same. In the fourth verse, the Blessed One has explained from the Dharma of this life, to being without illness, to the point where the wise ones each realize it for themselves. Among these, the fulfillment of desires at other times is explained in the first verse from the perspective of the nature of what should be expressed by desires. However, these are not fulfilled merely by desire, because complete seeking and enjoyment also precede expression. Gathering, dwelling, and not fully knowing, explain the wrong pursuit of them. Meeting with the dead explains the result of wrong pursuit. Fully knowing desires, completely abandoning wrong aspirations, abiding in pure conduct, completely abandoning views, completely abandoning the conceit arising from the root of views, completely abandoning attachment to gain and respect, this explains the rational essence of completely abandoning desires. From this, it also explains the essence of not seeking the faults of others, and that desires arise at other times. For example, for those who have not previously performed virtuous deeds, even if they possess the ability of a man, desires will not be fulfilled. Even if virtuous deeds are performed in this life, desires will not be fulfilled in this life, but will be fulfilled in the next life from that basis. Therefore, through these means, it is explained that desires are fulfilled at other times. In the fourth verse, by abandoning the afflictions to be abandoned by seeing, the practice of a renunciate in this life and the first fruit of a renunciate are explained. By abandoning what is to be abandoned by meditation, the practice of a renunciate in this life and the later fruit of a renunciate are explained. By abandoning craving and the conceit of "I am," thus the Dharma of this life is explained. By being free from attachment and the dissipation of smoke, being without illness and the point where the wise ones each realize it for themselves are explained. Since this is so, how should others realize the Dharma that has already been realized by each individual? It is to be realized through the signs of not deceiving and being without hope. Among these, through three verses, the Blessed One

Thinking that this monk cannot explain the meaning of the Dharma, and if he does, I can refute him, a mind of contempt arises towards the monk, and a mind of arrogance arises. The four verses explain the meaning of the Dharma in detail. Twenty-first chapter. Overwhelmed by the attachment of desire, my mind is completely burned. Alas, Gautama, compassionate one, please tell me the path to liberation. Because of inverted perceptions, your mind is completely burned. Therefore, for those with desire, abandon the beautiful signs. You should constantly meditate on the impure with focused concentration. The fire of desire should be extinguished quickly, the external field is a place of burning. Suffering is selfless, so look at all actions. Dwell in mindfulness of the body, and be mostly disgusted. Meditate on the signless, which eliminates the habit of arrogance. Therefore, by realizing arrogance, you will eventually get rid of suffering. This is the verse. What is inverted perception? For impure things, abandoning the sign of impurity, taking the sign of impurity and manifestation from a pure perspective. What is complete abandonment of signs? For example, here someone sees a young, beautiful, and lovely woman, and does not distract or focus the senses. How to meditate on impurity with focused concentration? For example, here someone has a sign of good concentration, starting from complete dedication, up to the bones and skeleton, which has been well grasped in advance. When a lovely thing appears, remember that sign as it was before. Or, contemplate that one's own or another's inner body is full of various impurities, thinking that this body has everything from hair to urine. Why do you see actions as inferior for the sake of suffering? For example, here someone thinks like this: seeing a young, beautiful, and lovely woman, wanting to be close and enjoy
