does not do, does not approach, and does not associate with. The main point of this explanation is this: What is the main point? The wealth of sentient beings is of two kinds: the wealth of higher realms and the wealth of definite goodness. Among them, the wealth of higher realms is going to happy migrations. The wealth of definite goodness is the exhaustion of craving, being free from desire, cessation, and what is called nirvana. These two kinds of wealth are attained by avoiding obstacles. Therefore, in all ways, all bases, and all places, not acting improperly with means is avoiding the obstacles to the wealth of higher realms, and the wealth of higher realms will be attained. Therefore, completely avoiding the extreme of associating desire with decline, and the extreme of associating oneself with fatigue, is avoiding the obstacles to the wealth of definite goodness, and the wealth of definite goodness will be attained. Know that this is the main point here. Sentient beings with the concept of what can be expressed, those who abide in what is to be expressed, because they do not fully understand what is to be expressed, will encounter death. If one fully understands what is to be expressed, who can treat him in other ways? The expression of him does not exist, and there is no thought in the mind of the expresser. Whoever holds the views that are equal, different, or inferior, will therefore argue endlessly. For one who is not shaken by the three states, there is no equality or difference. Here, having cut off craving for name and form, having abandoned pride, and being without attachment, like smoke cleared away, without destruction, without hope, in the world of gods and humans, he does not appear. So-called this life and the next life, there are four verses. What is called "what is to be expressed" is all compounded phenomena. Thus, all compounded phenomena are contained in the basis of three terms. In the context of the meaning here, the five objects of desire are called "what is to be expressed." Furthermore, these five objects of desire are given by other renunciates and Brahmins, and should be fully sought from the patrons, and lords use slaves, maids, servants, and...

Instructing those who live by desire, they should enjoy, and for this reason, they are called 'what is said.' Moreover, those with desire do not easily know the faults of their own desires, because the Buddhas and the Buddha's Shravaka disciples often explain these 'what is said' from the perspective of faults, so this is also called 'what is said.' Those with desire grasp these desires as signs in an inappropriate way, grasping them as manifest signs, and they become attached to these desires, from attachment and infatuation to even greater attachment, and thus fully enjoy them. Because they are so attached, even though desires have various faults, they cannot know them as they truly are, because these desires are impermanent, empty, empty, false, deceptive, like illusions, childish, seductive, with little benefit and great faults. Even though there is a way to escape from these desires that have little benefit and great faults, they cannot know it as it truly is. From subduing the desire for them, to completely transcending them, everything in between is liberation from them. Because they do not see the faults in this way, and do not know liberation, they fully enjoy desires. From that basis, they rejoice in the fundamental mental formations that arise in the desire realm, and also create the fundamental actions of birth, thus being born in the desire realm. After being born, they will also die, and after being born, they will die at the time of death. Therefore, it is said: "Beings with the thought of 'what is said,' Those who dwell in the realm of 'what is said,' Because they do not fully know the realm of 'what is said,' Will ultimately meet with death." Those who rely on the true reliance on the excellent individuals, listen to the true Dharma, and rely on appropriate attention, thus knowing the faults and liberation of these desires themselves, that these desires are impermanent, and so on, up to transcending the desire for craving, should be widely combined. They gain faith in the Dharma and Discipline spoken by the Tathagata, and thus increase the view of the faults of desires.
