Seven, ten implements of the body, ten enjoyments of desires; these are as stated in the Middle Length Discourses. Eight types of uninterrupted following, and the eight worldly dharmas: gain and no gain, pleasant and unpleasant, happiness and suffering, blame and praise, three sides: the side of friends, the side of the unfriendly, and the side of the neutral. Three worldly behaviors, three ways of speaking, twenty-two minor faults, sixty-four classes of beings, eight seasons, four entries into the womb, four conducts, six ways of living, six ways of complete protection, seven sufferings, seven prides, seven arrogances, four terms, and many bases of terms will arise. Among these, what is the realm of sentient beings in hell? It is the aggregates of sentient beings in hell, summarized by seeds and fruits, and what is the karma that sentient beings in hell will experience. Just as the realm of sentient beings in hell is, so too are the realms of animals, hungry ghosts, gods, and humans similar, and they should be observed appropriately. What is the birthplace from eggs? It is those sentient beings that emerge after clearly breaking out of the eggshell, and what are those? For example, geese, cranes, peacocks, parrots, partridges, and so on. What is the birthplace from the womb? It is those sentient beings that are completely wrapped in the placenta and emerge without breaking the flesh membrane, and what are those? For example, elephants, horses, cows, donkeys, and so on. What is the birthplace from heat and moisture? It is those sentient beings that are born relying on any kind of heat and moisture, and what are those? For example, worms, ants, butterflies, woodworms, and so on. What is the birthplace from spontaneous birth? It is those sentient beings that are born with all six sense bases due to karma, or with any one of the six sense bases, and what are those? For example, hell beings and
