This is to gather all knowledge, definitely having direct knowledge of the uncontaminated dharmas, as well as hidden knowledge, definitely generating contaminated dharmas through reasoning, as well as not generating through reasoning, as well as worldly knowledge generated by neither reasoning nor non-reasoning, as well as knowing the differences in others' minds, contaminated, as well as uncontaminated. Like the divisions of entering and reversing, like the knowledge of holding onto suchness, these will abandon all outflows, the knowledge of the suchness of the fruit of the entering division, as well as the knowledge of the suchness of the cause, as well as the knowledge of the suchness of the fruit of the reversing division, as well as the knowledge of the suchness of the cause. These four dharmas, starting from the faithful abandoning afflictions, will turn into true practice, namely, constant habituation, as well as diligent effort to be respected, as well as mindfulness of acting knowingly, as well as tranquility, as well as insight. These four are able to distinguish all dharmas, and furthermore, they are the place of the exhaustion of outflows, the contaminated wisdom for obtaining the noble path, and after obtaining it, it will also reduce afflictions, as well as reduce things, and in order to completely abandon afflictions and things, practice as if the path has been obtained. These four dharmas are Equally associated, as well as having an object, as well as dwelling mixed together, as well as dwelling in one object, namely feeling, as well as perception, as well as formations, and consciousness. The four kinds of protection are that those who enter the teachings will generate joy in the teachings, namely, protecting life, as well as protecting strength, as well as protecting the afflictions of the mind, as well as protecting true practice. These four are for obtaining true view, and are the place for contemplating the meaning of intelligence, with three, behavior will be purified. With one, the dwelling place will be purified, namely, guarding the sense gates, not generating attachment to objects, nor generating hatred, for the sake of guarding the sense gates, the freedom of mindfulness.

Therefore, acting with mindfulness, and the one-pointed mind dwelling in solitude, is completely without afflictions. Through four ways, one should understand that wisdom and liberation are manifested: through mindfulness, the eye, and wisdom, wisdom is manifested. Through the body's immovability or time, liberation is manifested. These four dharmas arise as the basis for the entry of various great material forms arising from causes, namely solidity, liquidity, warmth, and lightness and mobility. These four dharmas are the basis for the existence of sentient beings, and benefit those who wish to arise, just as arising from the gathering of the basis. These four are the places where the stream of consciousness enters in samsara, namely approaching by seeing forms, becoming an object due to craving, dwelling by associating with objects as a basis, and after consciousness abides there, it enters together with the afflicted mental pleasure, therefore it also drips into existence. Just as with form, so too should feeling, recognition, and formations be understood. A monk, relying on the view of the body and life of this life, will develop a desire for robes, bedding, and cushions. Relying on the view of the body and life of the next life, he will also desire existence. Relying on ignorance of nirvana, he will develop a desire for wealth. In short, these desires become four types: for robes, food, bedding, and cushions, as well as for existence and wealth. These four dharmas are the reasons why sentient beings universally engage in non-deeds, namely being unable to endure desirable things, as well as undesirable things, anger, and fear arising from the power of the opponent, and being ignorant of the fruits of this life and the next due to a perverted mind. The four answers to questions are: cutting off doubt, causing the uncomprehended to be comprehended, and causing the power of certainty to arise; for the nature of dharma, it is with one head (way). For the ripening of the karma of sentient beings, it is with separation (way). For speaking with understanding and becoming many sayings, it is with...
