Just like transforming a house, for example, potters, blacksmiths, and goldsmiths first mix clay and other materials, but these materials are not completely refined. The stage of liberation is similar to this. The stage of overcoming birth is like being completely refined. The stage of exhaustion of birth should be seen as like being completely refined and then transforming it as desired. There are three kinds of samadhi: emptiness, desirelessness, and signlessness. What is emptiness samadhi? It is the one-pointedness of mind that begins with the absence of self in beings, life, nurturer, and person. There are four kinds of emptiness: Discerning emptiness is like this: from permanence to the attachment to self, one separately discerns all phenomena as empty. Its fruit, emptiness, is like this: the mind is not disturbed and is liberated, empty of all defilements such as desire. Inner emptiness is like this: the body is empty due to attachment to self, attachment to mine, and the pride of "I am." Outer emptiness is like this: the five objects of desire are empty of desire for desire. As it is widely said in the scriptures, "Having completely transcended the perception of form in all ways, one should realize and abide in outer emptiness with the body." Here, the perception of form refers to the perception of the objects of desire. Because one has abandoned the desire that arises from this perception, it is called outer emptiness. Sometimes, yogis remember outer emptiness with its fruit, emptiness. Sometimes they remember inner emptiness. Sometimes they remember inner and outer emptiness with discerning emptiness, thereby focusing the mind on inner and outer emptiness. If the mind cannot focus on inner and outer emptiness, then after that, one should remember immovability, and immovability means impermanence.

Or, it is the perception of suffering. By attending to it in that way, one will not waver and the thought of "I" will not arise, this is "I." The thought of "I" will not widely shake his mind. Therefore, his mind will focus on those two. What is the samadhi of the desireless mind? It is attending to the five aggregates of clinging as impermanent or suffering, and the one-pointedness of mind. What is the signless samadhi? It is attending to those same five aggregates of clinging as cessation and peace, and the one-pointedness of mind. The samadhi of the signless mind is what is widely proclaimed as "not surrendering either," etc. Regarding that (signless samadhi), how does one not surrender and not manifest surrender? Because it does not possess both the discordant and the concordant. Or, not attending to all signs, but attending to the signless realm, one enters into the signless in two ways. Among them, because one does not attend to the signs, one will not become weary of them, but only does not make an appearance of aversion, therefore it is said not to surrender. Because one attends to the signless realm, one will not become attached to it, therefore it is said not to manifest surrender. That samadhi also has two aspects: that which arises from practice, and the fruit of practice. Among them, that which arises from practice is to separately examine, separately examine and abide, but not yet liberated from the signs. For example, his consciousness follows after the signs, and at times completely entangles the mind. However, separately examining, separately examining and abiding, will render it fruitless, and will also liberate from following after the signs. That liberation is also for the sake of liberation. It is not abiding through separate examination. Therefore it is complete liberation. When separately examining, separately examining and abiding, because one still abides, it is liberation, but it is not complete liberation. The so-called "fruit of omniscience" and "benefit of omniscience" are the afflictions.

It is to abandon afflictions and to achieve happiness in this life. Moreover, cessation and the path are also all-knowing, and these two are the fruit of all-knowing and the benefit of all-knowing, and should be combined in order. Furthermore, the realization of truth is also all-knowing, and the Arhat himself is also all-knowing, for which, the time of the path of seeing is the fruit of all-knowing. The time of the fruit of Arhat is the benefit of all-knowing. Because seeing what is empty of what, it is called emptiness. Whatever is seen in this way, because one does not become attached to that itself, it is called wishlessness. Because all phenomena are seen as signless, it is called signlessness. From another perspective, whatever is impermanent is suffering. Whatever is suffering is selfless, thus emptiness is mentioned at the end. Why is emptiness taught first here? Because as long as one does not truly abide in the thought of selflessness, the appearance of impermanence and suffering, by which one becomes wishless, will not be completely purified in that way. After that, one will become wishless, therefore, if one becomes a thinker of impermanence, one will truly abide in the thought of selflessness, thus it is widely proclaimed. If he sees impermanence as selfless, he will not be attached, seeking liberation is to be attached to wishlessness itself. Therefore, signlessness is taught after that. What is the samadhi with investigation and analysis? It is that which equally possesses both investigation and analysis. What is the samadhi of only analysis without investigation? It is that which only possesses analysis equally, by practicing which, one can attain the Great Brahma himself. What is the samadhi without investigation and analysis? It is that which does not possess investigation and analysis, by practicing which, one will be born from above that up to the peak of existence, except for the samadhis without outflows. What is the samadhi without investigation and analysis? It is when the mind is particularly placed in a state of equanimity towards both investigation and analysis, and then.
