If asked, how does one explain and demonstrate? It is demonstrated by the first two words. It means that it is demonstrated by the two: correctly knowing each of the words that determine the meaning, and correctly knowing each of the eloquence. Regarding the statement, "Dharma comes from teaching and explaining," teaching the Dharma is also when the Bodhisattva first summarizes the Dharmas into a brief outline and then demonstrates them. Therefore, after that, he explains them in detail. Among them, briefly demonstrating is called correctly knowing each of the meanings. Explaining it in detail is called correctly knowing each of the Dharmas. Regarding the statement, "Both are for making everything understood," by correctly knowing each of the words that determine the meaning, one can make all beings understand both Dharma and meaning. How is it understood? Whichever language is used to demonstrate, by explaining it with the language that can express the meaning, everyone can understand it. Regarding the statement, "For refutation, it is the answering, four kinds of individual knowledge," by correctly knowing each of the eloquence, one can answer the refutations of the heretics and all the questions of the audience. Therefore, it is established as the four kinds of individual knowledge, that is the meaning. Regarding the statement, "Dharma is for demonstration and explanation," briefly demonstrating is correctly knowing each of the meanings. Explaining and elucidating it in detail is called correctly knowing each of the Dharmas. Regarding "explaining with words" and so on, by correctly knowing each of the words that determine the meaning, one can make others understand both Dharma and meaning, that is the meaning. Regarding the statement, "explaining with wisdom," by correctly knowing each of the eloquence, one can answer the refuters, that is the meaning. Therefore, in order to know what is explained with what, as mentioned above, what is explained is Dharma and meaning. What is it explained with? It is explained with words that determine the meaning and eloquence. And how is it explained? Briefly summarizing and explaining is correctly knowing each of the meanings, explaining in detail is correctly knowing each of the Dharmas, demonstrating it to others, making others understand is correctly knowing each of the words that determine the meaning. Answering the refutations of others is eloquence and so on.

That is individual perfect knowledge. Therefore, it is said that individual perfect knowledge is the four itself. Individual self-knowledge is equality, and later it is also able to know well. In order to eliminate all doubts, it is called individual perfect knowledge. This shows the definition and function of the four individual perfect knowledges. Among them, the word individual perfect knowledge is called "Pratisaṃvidā" in Indian language. Among them, "Prati" means individual, which refers to non-conceptual wisdom. "Saṃ" refers to equality, that is, the emptiness of the suchness of all dharmas. "Vidā" means to be known, that is, after the equality of non-conceptual wisdom is manifested, the names and characteristics of the Dharma are shown in other aspects with pure worldly wisdom, so that others can know and understand them, so it is called individual perfect knowledge, which is the definition. Individual perfect knowledge can cut off all doubts about the nature of the Dharma such as aggregates and realms, which is the function. There are four verses of collection and differentiation. In this sentence, what is the connection between the explanation of the chapter of collection and differentiation? Thus, the Bodhisattva with individual perfect knowledge accumulates the collection of merit and wisdom as its basis in order to practice the thirty-seven limbs of enlightenment. Therefore, there is a connection between explaining the chapter of collection after explaining individual perfect knowledge. The collection of Bodhisattvas is unequal merit and wisdom. This verse shows what is the collection and why it becomes a verse. Among them, there are two kinds of collections of Bodhisattvas, namely the collection of merit and the collection of wisdom. The collection of merit and wisdom of Bodhisattvas is accumulated for the benefit of oneself and all sentient beings, so it is superior to the collection of Śrāvakas, so it is called unequal. Therefore, the Ratnakuta Sutra also says: The collection of wisdom of Bodhisattvas should be regarded as the ten directions of space. Śrāvakas etc.
