Transforming into various forms through miraculous powers is called playing with the qualities of clairvoyance. Among them, loving-kindness is the antidote to harmful thoughts, it is the thought of accomplishing happiness. That is its meaning. Thinking of inflicting various harms such as beating and binding on sentient beings is called harmful thought. Thinking of placing sentient beings in the happiness of this world and beyond is called the thought of accomplishing happiness. If the mind of loving-kindness arises, then there will be no harmful thoughts, therefore loving-kindness is the antidote to harmful thoughts. Actually, what is the nature of loving-kindness like? It is thinking of placing sentient beings in happiness. Compassion is the antidote to harm, it is the thought of making sentient beings free from suffering. That is its meaning. Actions such as beating and binding sentient beings are harm. The thought of making sentient beings free from suffering such as birth, old age, sickness, and death. If compassion arises, there will be no harming of sentient beings, therefore compassion is the antidote to harm. Actually, what is the nature of compassion like? It is the thought of making sentient beings free from suffering. Thinking by nature is thinking, that is its meaning. Earth is the nature of solidity. Water is the nature of moisture. Thinking like this is called thinking. Differentiating thinking should be understood as differentiation, that is its meaning. Earth is decaying. Earth is impermanent. It is suffering. Differentiating thinking like this is called differentiation. Praising the difference after that is called a chapter, that is its meaning. Now, one chapter will show how many differences there are in the merits and benefits of practicing the ten perfections in the ten grounds. Calm abiding and insight, know them as five natures. Praised by the wise, at all times and in all places. That is its meaning. Above the grounds that the wise Bodhisattvas delight in practicing, below the tenth ground, it should be known that there are five kinds of merits in practicing the ten perfections. The five merits will appear in the commentary below. Those five are also divided into three types, some are placed on the side of calm abiding, some are placed on

It is placed on the side of insight (Vipassanā). Some are placed on the side of both (calm and insight). As for "destroying all places of evil destinies in every moment," the places of evil destinies refer to the consciousness that has become the basis for the habits of afflictions and obscurations of knowledge. By making the body and mind serviceable with single-pointed calm abiding, and by abandoning the cause of unserviceability of body and mind, namely afflictions and the habits of obscurations of knowledge, it is called destroying. Even below the stage of application, the habits of evil destinies are destroyed, but not in every moment. From the first ground onwards, all places of evil destinies are destroyed in every moment. This is one kind of subsequent praise. As for "obtaining great joy in the joy of dharma free from various concepts," not thinking differently such as "this is a form dharma, this is a formless dharma, this is a conditioned dharma, this is an unconditioned dharma" is the dharma free from various concepts. Thus, abandoning the discrimination of various signs, and with calm abiding free from all harm of signs, one knows the bliss of signlessness oneself, and focusing on that is called obtaining great joy in the joy of dharma. Obtaining great joy means obtaining a mind without distraction. From the first ground onwards, abandoning the discrimination of various signs, and obtaining the single-pointed path of calm abiding that abides in signlessness, it is said to obtain great joy in the joy of dharma free from various concepts. This is the second kind of sign. As for "fully knowing the appearance of immeasurable dharma in all uninterrupted aspects," not distinguishing "this is form, this is formless, this is shape, this is sound," but knowing that all dharmas are of one taste, is called fully knowing the appearance of signless dharma in all uninterrupted aspects. Alternatively, it is not that some dharmas are known and some are not, but because all dharmas of the ten directions and three times are known equally, it is said to fully know the immeasurable in all uninterrupted aspects.

It is called the excellent knowledge of the Dharma's appearance. This is the three aspects. It will be practiced on the aspects of the pure side, which is not discriminated and not non-discriminated. The extensive commentary on the Ornament of the Great Vehicle Sutras, composed by the great teacher Lodrö Tenpa, is complete. In Mangyul, Khenpo Muni Chandra and translator Lhaje Tashi based it on two commentaries. Although the new translation of the two commentaries by the Khenpo with "Knowing a Little" is not obviously pure, it explains in more detail than this, so this is also cherished. Because the slightly incomplete ending was lost, it was compared with the two commentaries and completed. Commentary on the Ornament of the Sutras, Lodrö Tenpa.
