Because the wisdom of a Bodhisattva comprehends both Nirvana and Samsara as being of the nature of illusion, they also know the bliss of Nirvana to be like an illusion. Since they do not generate attachment even to Nirvana, how could they generate attachment to the Dharma of Samsara, which is of the nature of illusion and has become a place of suffering? They do not generate a mind of attachment to Nirvana like the Hearers, nor do they generate a mind of attachment to Samsara like ordinary people. Because they are not attached to anything, this second verse shows that there is no impurity. Therefore, in the 'Inexhaustible Intellect Sutra,' it is also said: The realm of Dharma, the realm of Samsara, and the realm of Nirvana are the same. The realm of Dharma, the realm of sentient beings, the realm of space, and the realm of all Dharmas are the same. Why are they the same? Because they are the same in emptiness, therefore they are the same. And so on. That wisdom also places all beings in the three Bodhisattvas. This third verse shows great meaning. The wisdom held by knowledge establishes the inexhaustible world. This shows the inexhaustible. The words 'held by knowledge' show that non-conceptual wisdom is attained. 'Establishes the inexhaustible world' shows that it is completely held by great compassion. Being held by wisdom, it is inexhaustible because it does not fall into Samsara like ordinary people. Being held by great compassion, it is not exhausted in the realm of Nirvana like the Hearers. The meaning of this is also in the 'Inexhaustible Intellect Sutra': Furthermore, those who are skilled in conditioned things, in order to equally emit unobstructed rays of light to all sentient beings, gathering sentient beings with the four objects of gathering, this is being skilled in conditioned things. Those who do not grasp, take, or touch beings without beings and without self, and who are skilled in the objects of gathering, also dedicate themselves to the unconditioned, because they know all things, this is being skilled in conditioned things. And so on. Completely holding sentient beings with wisdom is because compassion does not abandon sentient beings. The wisdom of a Bodhisattva is held by wisdom, so inexhaustibility is also wisdom.

Being completely seized by great compassion, it does not fall into one extreme of Nirvana. The incarnate body turns the wheel of Dharma until the end of Samsara, therefore, wisdom should be understood as inexhaustible. The meaning of showing the merits of the six perfections with six verses: vast and without confusion, etc., are shown with six verses. The beggar seeing fulfillment is joyful, not joyful, and with mental desire, the giver, the compassionate one, always overcomes with a superior manner. Like that. Furthermore, below this, the merits of the six perfections are explained in other aspects. Among them, first, the merit of the perfection of generosity is taught. Among them, if the people of the beggar see the person of the giver, they are happy, and the person of the beggar also thinks from the giver, 'I should get such a thing,' and from the person of the giver, they get what they want, and if the thought is fulfilled as desired, they are happy, and if the person of the beggar does not see the person of the giver, they are not happy, and if the thought of what they thought is not fulfilled, they are also not happy. Furthermore, even if the beggar sees the person of the giver, they think, 'Whatever may happen,' and after seeing, they also think, 'Where and where should I get it,' and even if they get that and that, they think, 'Whatever may happen,' and if the hope is fulfilled as desired, they are happy, and if the hope is not fulfilled, unhappiness arises. Conversely, if a Bodhisattva, a giver, sees a beggar, joy arises, and whatever things the beggar thinks they want, those things are given away, and if the beggar's thought is fulfilled, joy arises. Likewise, if the giver does not see the beggar, they are not happy, and if their thought is not fulfilled, they are not happy. Furthermore, the Bodhisattva of the giver, seeing the beggar, also desires, thinking, 'Whatever may happen,' and after seeing, they also desire, thinking, 'Whatever may happen, even if their thought is fulfilled,' and if the hope is fulfilled, it becomes joy, and if the hope is not fulfilled, it becomes unhappiness. In this, if the beggar sees the giver, they are happy, if the thought is fulfilled, they are happy, if the hope of the mind is fulfilled, they are happy, and if the beggar of the Bodhisattva of the giver sees, they are happy, and their
