And even the name of the Pratyekabuddha is not known. If it is like the first dhyana, then it should be regarded as similar to that which is included in the second dhyana and so on, and the formless realms, so it is said. In the Sutra of the Noble Inexhaustible Intellect, it is also said: What is the inexhaustible meditation of the Bodhisattvas? The inexhaustible meditation of the Bodhisattvas is sixteenfold, which is not possessed by all the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, so it is said. It is also said: Thus, these samadhis are limitless and immeasurable, hundreds of thousands of kotis of meditations have been surpassed. So it is said. Enjoying the supreme bliss of meditation, abiding last among beings with compassion. So it is said. If one attains the meditation of the form realm, the body becomes light and the mind obtains the supreme fruit of bliss. Although such supreme bliss is attained, one does not cling to the supreme bliss of the Bodhisattva's meditation, and does not abide in the form realm, but due to compassion, one is born in the three realms among many beings and in the places of evil destinies for the sake of sentient beings. These two lines show that one does not cling to the taste of meditation, so there is no impurity. Therefore, in the Sutra of the Noble Inexhaustible Intellect, it is also said: Because of not clinging to one's own bliss, the meditation of the Bodhisattvas is tasting the flavor. Because of abandoning the afflictions of all sentient beings, the meditation of the Bodhisattvas is focused on great compassion. Because of focusing on the desire realm, the meditation of the Bodhisattvas is reversing samadhi. So it is said. By that meditation, all beings are also placed in the three bodhis. So it is said. By meditation, one accomplishes clairvoyance, and by clairvoyance, one gathers sentient beings and places them in the bodhi of the three vehicles, so these three lines show great meaning. In the Sutra of the Noble Inexhaustible Intellect, it is also said: For the sake of liberating all sentient beings, the meditation of the Bodhisattvas is the precursor of the thoughts of sentient beings, and so on. By the meditation held by wisdom, the inexhaustible world is established. Thus, the fourth line shows the inexhaustible, and because it is held by wisdom, it does not discriminate.

It shows that it possesses pure wisdom. The words "abiding in the inexhaustible world" show that it possesses great compassion, and with the wisdom of the pure world, the manifested body benefits sentient beings. This is also explained in the Sutra of Inexhaustible Intelligence of the Noble Manjushri. How is it? What is the complete practice of meditation? It is the perfection of clairvoyance and wisdom. What is clairvoyance? What is wisdom? That which sees all appearances as form is called clairvoyance. That which knows the inexhaustible nature of all forms, but does not directly realize the Dharma of exhaustion, is called wisdom. Such things are said. The sons of the Buddhas know all that is to be known. The so-called "sons of the Buddhas know all that is to be known." There are two kinds of truth: ultimate truth and conventional truth. The so-called "that itself" shows the ultimate truth. That is also the common characteristic of all dharmas, the selflessness of persons and the selflessness of dharmas. With non-discriminating wisdom, one understands the selflessness of persons and dharmas. That is also with non-discriminating wisdom, all dharmas are understood like the face of the sky. After obtaining the place of knowledge and the names and languages of various kinds such as gods, humans, evil races, and outcasts, with the wisdom of the pure world, all these names are known. It is also known as illusion, mirage, and the moon in the water. In order to eliminate the confusion about the nature of the Dharma, it is said in the world that these dharmas are contaminated, these dharmas are uncontaminated, these dharmas are conditioned, and these dharmas are unconditioned. In this way, understanding both the ultimate truth and the conventional truth, the first verse shows the vastness. The meaning of this is also from the Sutra of Inexhaustible Intelligence of the Noble Manjushri. What is conventional truth? That is, all the names, letters, sounds, and symbols that are explained in the world. What is the ultimate truth? That is, there is no movement of the mind, let alone letters? So it is said. Not generating attachment to Nirvana, how can one abide in Samsara?
