Being seized by the great assembly, without losing mindfulness and awareness, wherever one is born from, one is born there, being born with awareness, hence it is called thinking and being born. When one is born in this way, contemplating dependent origination, one dwells much in this, because one is not stained by afflictions, hence it is called universally guarding after afflictions. Therefore, from the sixth ground it is also said: When he distinguishes all dharmas in this way, self and other, he further precedes with great compassion, is dominated by great compassion, and for the sake of perfecting great compassion, he observes the arising and destruction of the world. When observing the arising and destruction of the world, he thinks: All the terms of birth in the world arise from attachment to self, and without attachment to self, there is no arising. Ignorant people are obscured by the darkness of not knowing attachment to self, and they appear to be attached to existence and non-existence, arising from improper attention, entering into what is not true, following wrong paths, these are merit and non-merit and unwavering actions, etc., until the actions and causes and conditions are cut off. For the sake of perfecting sentient beings, even if the actions are extremely peaceful, they should not be manifested, as it is said. The signless one-sided path is connected to the one-going path. Thus it is said that the characteristic of the seventh ground of the Bodhisattvas is that it is connected to the one-going path, and the signless is established as the characteristic of the one-sided path. Among them, the one-going path refers to the eighth ground. At the time of the eighth ground, one does not abide with intermittent effort and without intermittent effort, but only abides in the spontaneously accomplished non-conceptual samadhi, hence it is called the one-going path. The seventh ground abides like the eighth ground, and the eighth ground is attained after the seventh ground, hence the seventh ground is called connected to the one-going path. At the time of the seventh ground, the sutras, etc.

For many dharmas, no different characteristics are made, because the meaning of all sutras is always focused on the single nature, so the seventh bhumi is called the path of one aspect without characteristics. Regarding the meaning related to the one path, it is also mentioned in the seventh bhumi: 'Hey, son of the conquerors, for example, between the world realm that is completely afflicted and completely pure, and the world realm that is extremely pure, without aspiration, skillful means, wisdom, the power of superknowledge, and great strength, one cannot freely transcend. Hey, son of the conquerors, similarly, between the defiled and completely pure conduct of a bodhisattva, without aspiration, skillful means, wisdom, superknowledge, the power of wisdom, and great strength, one cannot freely transcend.' Regarding the one meaning of no characteristics, it is also mentioned in the seventh bhumi: 'Thus, when abiding in the seventh bhumi, the immeasurable actions of the body will be completely liberated from characteristics. The immeasurable actions of speech will be completely liberated from characteristics. The immeasurable actions of mind, liberated from characteristics, extremely purified, manifested by the forbearance of the dharma of non-arising, will arise immeasurably.' No characteristics, spontaneously accomplished, the field is also completely purified. The characteristic of the eighth bhumi of a bodhisattva is that it is also spontaneously accomplished in no characteristics, abiding in no characteristics without intentionality, and it is established as the characteristic of completely purifying the Buddha field. Therefore, at the time of the eighth bhumi, one abides in the samadhi of non-conceptual spontaneous accomplishment. When abiding in the samadhi of non-conceptualization, even a slight effort of exertion does not arise, therefore it is called spontaneously accomplished in no characteristics, abiding in no characteristics without intentionality. Because the Buddha field appears to be purified like the color of gold and crystal, it is called the Buddha field is also completely purified. Therefore, from the eighth bhumi itself, the meaning of spontaneous accomplishment without characteristics is also explained: 'Hey, sons of the conquerors, such forbearance'
