Because penetrating wisdom knows that all dharmas are like illusions, mirages, and dreams, it is called subsequent knowledge. Pure worldly wisdom arises after non-conceptual wisdom, hence it is named subsequent knowledge. Alternatively, due to ignorance, actions arise; from the condition of birth, there is aging and death, etc. Knowing that these arise dependently and in accordance with the proper order from ignorance is called knowing the unknowing. When ignorance ceases, actions cease; from the cessation of birth to the cessation of aging and death, knowing the nature of dependent arising is called subsequent knowledge. Knowing that all characteristics of imputation are without inherent existence, like a rabbit's horn, is called knowing the non-existence of things. Knowing that all apprehended and apprehending, and all suffering, arise from the nature of dependence, it is called subsequent knowledge of arising. Knowing that the nature of perfect establishment is the nature of being inseparable from all apprehended and apprehending, it is called knowing the unknowing and individually knowing, because the nature of perfect establishment lacks the knowledge of apprehended and apprehending, hence it is called unknowing. Because it is the nature of wisdom, it is called knowing. Furthermore, because of knowing the five distinctions of knowable objects of other kinds, it is taught as Bodhisattva. Knowing the meaningless and knowing the ultimate meaning, knowing all and knowing the meaning without remainder, knowing the knowable, the place of knowing, and knowing completely, thus it is also said to be called Bodhisattva. Knowing the five distinctions of knowable objects is knowing the nature of dependence, knowing the nature of perfect establishment, knowing the nature of imputation, knowing all knowledge and knowers in every way, and knowing that the three spheres are completely purified by the knowable, the knower, and knowledge; therefore, it is called Bodhisattva. Among these, knowing the meaningless is knowing the nature of dependence, knowing that all three realms are merely dependence, knowing that apart from that there is no real meaning of apprehended and apprehending objects, and knowing how dependence manifests apprehended and apprehending.

Merely clinging, know that the meaningless nature, suffering such as birth and old age, constantly arises. Knowing the ultimate truth is knowing the nature of the perfectly established, knowing that the nature of the perfectly established is the nature of being separated from the two, the grasper and the grasped, and being non-dual. Knowing everything is knowing the nature of the thoroughly imputed, knowing that the phenomena of the grasped, such as form, and the phenomena such as the eye, all the phenomena thoroughly imputed on the grasper and the grasped, are like rabbit horns, without nature. Knowing the meaning of without remainder is knowing the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, as well as all knowable phenomena such as those with and without defilements, knowing all conventional truths, one should quickly know that all conventional phenomena are the objects of speech and thought. Knowing the object of knowledge and the place of knowledge, and knowing the three, is knowing that the object of knowledge and the knower, and knowing the three, the three wheels are completely pure, in the ultimate sense, the object of knowledge is the external object, the knower is the person, the object of knowledge is the wisdom, the three are without self-nature. Among them, knowing without meaning, knowing the ultimate truth, and knowing everything, is showing the knowledge of the three natures. Knowing all aspects of the meaning of without remainder, and knowing the object of knowledge, the knower, and knowing the three, the three wheels are completely pure, is showing the knowledge of the conventional truth and the knowledge of the ultimate truth. Again, with other names, by knowing the five aspects, in order to show being called a Bodhisattva, knowing completeness and also knowing the place, knowing many, knowing sequential explanation, and knowing complete removal of doubt, therefore it is also called a Bodhisattva. As it is said, among them, knowing completeness is knowing that in the palace of Akanishta, one manifests enlightenment with the complete enjoyment body. Or after obtaining the four wisdoms of the Buddha and the five completely pure realms of Dharma, knowing all aspects of all knowable objects without remainder is called completeness. Knowing the place is knowing that the Bodhisattva dwells in the Tushita heaven, benefiting the gods. Knowing many is that the Bodhisattva at
