If one meditates by dismantling the two dharmas into emptiness, then one will attain the supreme and unsurpassed Bodhi. Likewise, one should gradually speak of such non-discrimination. The order of meditating on the two characteristics of the object to be placed in front and the characteristic of abiding in one's own nature is: First, dismantle the characteristic of the object to be placed in front, such as a skeleton, into emptiness, and then do not discriminate about it. Then, dismantle the characteristic of abiding in one's own nature, such as a vase, into emptiness, and then do not discriminate about it. Among "what is equality and thought, etc.," the meaning of the characteristic of the object to be placed in front is explained. The characteristic of the object to be placed in front refers to the object of samadhi of equality, thought, and meditation by the yogi, that is, the characteristic of a skeleton, etc., which is immediately examined and placed by the mind. Regarding "having become abiding in one's own nature," abiding in one's own nature is not what is immediately thought and placed in front, but what has been arranged since beginningless samsara and appears naturally in the mind without effort, that is, what is examined by the mind of one's own nature, such as a vase, etc., and appears as if it exists outside the mind. "Dismantling" means separating from existing objects and not discriminating. Among them, the method of dismantling the two dharmas into emptiness is to separate the characteristic of the object to be placed in front and the characteristic of abiding in one's own nature from appearing in the mind, and not to appear in the mind. Then, abandon the discrimination of existence in it, and meditate in the manner of non-discrimination, which is called placing. "Its method is the antidote to characteristics" means that dismantling into emptiness and meditating in the manner of non-discrimination is the method of eliminating and destroying all attachments to characteristics. Regarding "the object to be placed in front and the external abiding in one's own nature," etc., the order of meditating on these two dharmas into emptiness is: First, dismantle the characteristic of the object to be placed in front, such as a skeleton, into emptiness. How to dismantle it? That is, these appearances of a skeleton, etc., are merely appearances in the mind, and are not truly existent, thus dismantling it. Dismantle the things that abide in their own nature, such as a vase, into emptiness. How to dismantle it? That is, just as a skeleton, etc., merely appears in the mind and does not have its own nature, so does a vase.

Etc., these also only appear in the mind. They do not have self-nature, therefore, for the yogi who destroys the characteristics of a person with four inversions, clinging to the characteristics of permanence, happiness, purity, and self as existing in a person, the yogi who destroys emptiness and practices will attain the Bodhi of the Hearer and the Bodhi of the Solitary Buddha. The complete destruction of the characteristics of all dharmas is the Great Bodhi. For this, the yogi who destroys the emptiness of both the characteristics of the person and the characteristics of the dharma and practices will attain the unsurpassed Bodhi, this is its meaning. In what way they are bound is fully known, and the truth is known as it is, these have been explained. For this, the summarized meaning of the three verses spoken therein is: in what way sentient beings are fully bound is known, from the knowledge of being fully bound, knowing in what way to be liberated from bondage, and what is the nature of knowing the truth as it is, these three meanings have been explained. Among them, the one verse "of place and enjoyment seeds" etc. explains knowing what is bondage. The one verse "characteristics placed in front" etc. explains the means of being liberated by fully knowing in what way. The initial verse "since all are without object" etc. explains what is knowing the truth as it is. Because of fully knowing the three natures, for the complete knowledge of the Alaya consciousness, abandoning the habits of afflictions and cognitive obscurations and being liberated, therefore it is said "Thusness wisdom knowledge". Among them, Thusness is emptiness, referring to the Dharmadhatu, the wisdom that takes emptiness as its object will manifest the complete nature, this is its meaning. In "Two graspings are completely abandoned", the two graspings refer to the grasper and the grasped, or the imputed person and the imputed dharma, both of which are without nature like a rabbit's horn.
