Those are impermanent, like a vase. Inferring impermanence through the means of being made by causes and conditions is called inference. What is called inconceivable refers to the Dharmadhatu and non-conceptual wisdom as inconceivable. If correct view arises, one will attain the inconceivable place, which is the Dharmadhatu and non-conceptual wisdom. This is called the logic of Dharma-nature. Just as fire's nature is heat, correct attention gives rise to correct view, and from correct view, one attains the state of Nirvana. Because this is naturally attained by Dharma-nature, it is called the logic of Dharma-nature. Thinking and speaking, as well as practice and accumulation, and the differences in how they truly arise, are established as the three vehicles. That is, through five aspects, one can understand the characteristics of the three vehicles: small thinking, small speaking, small practice, small accumulation, and small true arising are called the Hearer Vehicle. Medium thinking, medium speaking, medium practice, medium accumulation, and medium true arising are called the Solitary Realizer Vehicle. Vast thinking, vast speaking, vast practice, vast accumulation, and vast true arising are called the Great Vehicle. The difference spoken of by Sutras and melodies is that the five sciences and the decisions that accord with the twelve divisions of scripture spoken of by Sutras and melodies are called explaining the Dharma. Argument: The twelve divisions of scripture, such as the Sutra Pitaka, are called Inner Science. Because explaining it is the same as explaining science, how are the Science of Reasoning, the Science of Language, the Science of Medicine, and the Science of Crafts contained and explained within it? In response to this argument, because the Great Vehicle Sutra Pitaka has shown that all five sciences are contained within it, it is said that the other sciences are also contained there, and they are taught to Bodhisattvas from the Great Vehicle. Therefore, the Great Vehicle itself is called Inner Science. The Science of Reasoning and

The science of sound, the science of medicine, and the science of crafts are also collected in the Mahayana sutras. The Blessed One explained to the Bodhisattvas, for example, the measure of valid cognition of direct perception and inference in the science of reasoning is explained in the Lankavatara Sutra and the Samdhinirmocana Sutra and other sutras. In the Samdhinirmocana Sutra, it says: "Wisdom should be known as four types: dependent wisdom, functional wisdom, skillful establishment wisdom, and the wisdom of the nature of reality." And so on. The science of sound, because it is obstructive, is form; because it is the nature of experience, it is feeling, and so on. In these sutras, the nature of sound is explained in detail. The science of medicine also explains the rituals of medical treatment in the Suvarnaprabhasa Sutra and other scriptures. The science of crafts also explains various crafts such as singing, dancing, and music in those Mahayana sutras. Therefore, all fields of knowledge are included in the Mahayana sutras. "Relying on the seven suchness" and so on, means relying on the seven suchness. Explaining the seven suchness is explaining the establishment of the four truths. The so-called "entering suchness" refers to the suchness that enters the beginningless and endless cycle of existence. Thus, the cycle of existence starts from ignorance causing karma, to birth causing aging and death, entering in a way that one causes another, which is true and not mistaken, hence it is called entering suchness. The so-called "nature suchness" refers to the three natures of parikalpita, paratantra, and parinispanna, which are called nature suchness. The nature of parikalpita is like a rabbit's horn, without nature and true. The nature of paratantra, like the grasper and the grasped, is the basis and support for inverted discrimination, which is true. The nature of parinispanna is the self-nature that is free from the grasper and the grasped, which is true, hence it is called nature suchness.

It is called the Suchness of Characteristics. What is the Suchness of Consciousness-Only? All phenomena are merely appearances in the mind. This is called the Suchness of Consciousness-Only. Conditioned and unconditioned phenomena are merely mind. Since they are not separate from the mind, they are true and not inverted. Therefore, it is called the Suchness of Consciousness-Only. Thus, in the Sutra of the Ten Bhumis, it is also said: 'O sons of the Victorious Ones, these three realms are merely mind.' It is called the Abiding Suchness, which is the Suchness that abides in the Truth of Suffering. The Truth of Suffering abides in the characteristics of birth, aging, and death, and is true and not mistaken. It is called the Wrong Means Suchness, which is the nature of actions and afflictions, and the Wrong Means Suchness in the Truth of Origin. The Truth of Origin arises and accomplishes the Truth of Suffering, and is true and not inverted. It is called the Pure Suchness, which is the Pure Suchness in the Truth of Cessation. Knowing the characteristics of the Truth of Suffering and the Truth of Origin is true and not inverted. It is called the Right Means Suchness, which is the Right Means Suchness in the Truth of the Path. The Truth of the Path accomplishes the Truth of Cessation, and is true and not inverted. Among them, the Entering Suchness, the Abiding Suchness, and the Wrong Means Suchness are the same and equal for all sentient beings. The two Suchnesses of Characteristics are the same and equal for all conditioned and unconditioned phenomena. The Pure Suchness is the same and equal for Hearers, Solitary Buddhas, and Tathagatas. The Right Means Suchness is the same and equal for those who engage in listening, thinking, and cultivating virtue. Therefore, in the Noble Sutra Unraveling the Intent, it is also said: Maitreya, what is the Suchness of all those defiled and purified phenomena? It is the reality as it is.
