The power of the ground, hope is not reversed, and it is endowed with perfect hope, so no matter what kind of karma is done, the fruit can be truly achieved, and there will be no fruitlessness. This is called not wasting diligence. There are also four kinds of non-wasting diligence. Abandoning fear, if one is afraid of the profound and vast Dharma of the Mahayana, then the Bodhisattva's diligence towards the Mahayana is a waste. Bodhisattvas themselves have no fear of the profound and vast Dharma, and can also eliminate the fear of sentient beings towards the Mahayana path, so it is called not wasting diligence. This is the first type of non-waste. Among them, the Dharma and the absence of self of the individual are profound, and the grounds and Paramitas are vast. Generating the mind, if the Bodhisattva generates the mind for himself and sentient beings wanting worldly perfection, or wanting the perfection of Sravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, then diligence is a waste. The Bodhisattva will not do that, but will generate the mind of unsurpassed Bodhi for himself and sentient beings, so he will not retreat from the mind of Bodhi, so diligence is not wasted, this is the second type of non-waste. Cutting off doubt, if sentient beings who have generated the mind of unsurpassed Bodhi cut off doubts about the Dharma of the Mahayana, then these sentient beings will retreat from generating the mind of Bodhi, which is a waste. Those who generate the mind of Bodhi will cut off the doubts that arise about the Dharma of the Mahayana, so they will not retreat from the mind of Bodhi, so diligence is not wasted, this is the third type of non-waste. Practicing the key points, Bodhisattvas are always not wasteful. If Bodhisattvas do not practice according to the key points of the grounds and Paramitas taught by the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and do not practice themselves, nor do they teach the key points of practice to sentient beings, then diligence is a waste. Bodhisattvas themselves will also follow the correct key points and oral instructions

It is able to accomplish this, and repeatedly proclaims the correct teachings and oral instructions to sentient beings, therefore the practice will not be in vain. This is the fourth kind of not being in vain. The four dharmas mentioned above are the dharmas of the Bodhisattvas that are always not in vain. In the so-called "classification of correct practice in two verses," practice refers to action. Therefore, the Bodhisattva who abides in not being in vain will not err in the actions performed through the three doors of body, speech, and mind. Therefore, the two verses explain that there will be no mistakes in what is done. The so-called "giving without expectation" means that even if one gives material things, Dharma, and fearlessness to those who are busy and poor, one does not expect a reward in this life, nor does one expect to ripen into great enjoyment in future lives. Such giving is the correct practice of the perfection of giving. The so-called "discipline without craving" means that if keeping the precepts is for the sake of being reborn in the realms of gods and humans, then the Bodhisattva's keeping of the precepts is not for the sake of obtaining the happiness of samsara, obtaining the fruits of gods and humans, but for the sake of obtaining unsurpassed Bodhi. This is the correct practice of the perfection of discipline. The so-called "all is patience" means that if one does not beat or scold with the body, or speak harsh words with the mouth, but has anger in the heart, it is not all patience. The Bodhisattva, like not harming with body and speech, also has no anger in the heart, so it is called all patience. This is the correct practice of the perfection of patience. The so-called "diligence produces all good" means that striving to accomplish a few perfections, or striving for the Dharma of a few vehicles, cannot be called diligence that produces all good. Bodhisattvas strive for all perfections and all the Dharma of the three vehicles, so they can produce all good.

English

It is called diligence, which is the correct practice of the perfection of diligence. Similarly, "non-formless concentration" means that when Bodhisattvas practice concentration, they practice the kind of concentration that will cause them to be reborn in the desire realm and the form realm as the result of their concentration, rather than practicing the kind of concentration that will cause them to be reborn in the formless realm. This is because after being reborn in the formless realm, there is no opportunity to perfect oneself in the Dharma of the Buddha, nor is there an endless opportunity to ripen sentient beings. Therefore, such concentration is the correct practice of the perfection of concentration. "If wisdom is combined with skillful means" means that having skillful means without wisdom, or having wisdom without skillful means, is a bondage for Bodhisattvas. Therefore, if the wisdom that understands the emptiness of all phenomena is combined with the four means of gathering that ripen sentient beings, then that is wisdom that is grasped by skillful means. Such is the correct practice of the perfection of wisdom of a Bodhisattva. "The six perfections" means that as mentioned above, if one practices the six perfections, then the Bodhisattvas who are taught are practicing the perfections correctly and without error. That is its meaning. As it is said in the Ratnakuta Sutra, etc., as mentioned above, if one practices the six perfections, then one is practicing the six perfections correctly. It is also said in the noble Ratnakuta Sutra, what is said? Giving without expecting fruition, keeping precepts without dwelling in all places of existence, patience without anger towards all sentient beings, diligence in correctly accumulating all roots of virtue, concentration unpolluted by the formless realm, and wisdom that is proficient in skillful means, possesses the four means of gathering, and is grasped by skillful means, and so on. Distinguishing the aspects of decline and excellence, there are two verses, which means what Dharma exists, the perfection will
