It is non-existent like a son. To show that there are other faults in saying that the person exists as a substance, it is also said, "If it is considered a substance." The meaning of this sentence is that if the person is considered a substance, then these faults will occur again. What faults will occur? Therefore, the Buddha Bhagavan said, "Harm the three perfect enlightenments." This sentence means that the so-called Buddha is the one who has understood the meaning of all the existing dharmas without any inversion, so he is called Buddha. Therefore, in the Sutra of the Salu Sapling, it is also said, what is the so-called Buddha Bhagavan? It is called Buddha because he has understood all the dharmas. He and the Dharma body of the Holy Dharma and the eye of wisdom are the reasons for attaining enlightenment, and the Shravakas and the non-learners have seen the Dharma. If the person exists, then the all-knowing one will see that person. If the person is seen and known, then the Buddha's enlightenment and understanding of the three kinds of dharmas will decline, which is obvious. Therefore, it is said, "Harm the three perfect enlightenments," which means that the three kinds of dharmas are harmed without being understood. What are the three dharmas? Therefore, it is said, "Profound direct enlightenment, uncommon direct enlightenment, and transcendental direct enlightenment." Among them, because of understanding the selflessness of Dharma, it is profound direct enlightenment. Because of understanding the selflessness of the person, it is uncommon direct enlightenment. With whom is it uncommon? It is uncommon with the heretics. Why? Because the heretics believe in the self, and do not believe in the selflessness of the person. In this way, understanding the selflessness of Dharma and the selflessness of the person is transcendental enlightenment. Because worldly people have not realized the selflessness of Dharma and the selflessness of the person. Or, because of knowing the completely imputed non-self-nature, it is profound direct enlightenment. The other's power is completely imputed.

And the Dharma. The two natures of the person of complete imputation are separate. It is not merely mind and mental events. Because it is understood as merely existent, it is called the uncommon manifest enlightenment. In this way, since no one, including non-Buddhists, has realized it, it is called uncommon. Because the characteristic of the perfectly established is understood, it is called the transcendent manifest enlightenment. Because the characteristic of the perfectly established is not possessed by anyone in the world, it is called transcendent. If a person is manifestly enlightened and a person is understood, then nothing profound is understood. Why is that? Because it is said that this is how it is grasped, and that is understood by all the world. Because the existence of a person and a self is understood by all the world, the Buddha does not understand anything profound more than the world. Furthermore, if the person is not understood, then it is not good to be indistinguishable from non-Buddhists. Why is that? Because it is said that non-Buddhists are manifestly attached. Because non-Buddhists also see the self as existent, the Buddha does not know any uncommon Dharma more than non-Buddhists. Furthermore, if the Blessed One were to understand the person, then in that case, it would not be beyond the world. Why is that? Because it is said to be in accordance with long-lasting samsara. Because ordinary beings are attached to seeing themselves as existent from beginningless samsara, the Buddha, the Blessed One, does not understand anything transcendent more than the world. In order to show that there are other faults in seeing the person as substantially existent. Again, if the person is from the seer to the discriminator, then seeing and so on, with effort and without effort, will disappear, it is said. In this way, if the person is made from the seer to the discriminator, then it is examined in two ways. How is it? In this way, first the desire to see arises. Then, do you want to make the act of seeing form by making efforts such as opening the eyes? Or do you want to make the act of seeing form without making efforts such as opening the eyes?
